Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Thursday, Sept. 20:

• Rose M. Veasley, 51, Freeport, Ill., was stopped for a traffic infraction in the N9000 block of Wisconsin 69 in the Town of New Glarus at 7:33 p.m. and arrested on a warrant issued by Green County for issuance of worthless checks. She posted the required cash bond and was released with a court date.

• Adrian M. Runaas, 38, Evansville, was arrested on charges of battery, disorderly conduct, bail jumping and false imprisonment after deputies responded at 8:47 p.m. to a complaint of an assault that occurred in the N9400 block of Glenway Road in the Town of Brooklyn. Runaas was jailed pending court.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday, Sept. 20:

• Andrew A. Stocks, 27, Gratiot, was arrested during a traffic stop at 5:20 p.m. on County J in Benton on a warrant issued by Lafayette County. He was also cited for driving with a suspended license. He was transported to the jail, where he posted bond and was released.

• Dusty R. Weber, 21, Gratiot, was cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed and non-registration of a vehicle at 12:55 a.m. on Wisconsin 11 in South Wayne.

• Tasha R. Sweeney, 19, South Wayne, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 5:33 a.m. on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.

• Spencer T. Hocking, 23, Benton, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 6:34 a.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• William E. Mears, 66, Janesville, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance, an expired registration and no valid driver's license at 8:35 a.m. on Wis. 11 in the Town of Shullsburg.

• Reese R. Guillory, 22, Gratiot, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 10:26 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne. A passenger, Mick S. Cottington, 18, Gratiot, was cited for underage drinking.
