Police, Fire and EMS responded at 5:21 p.m. to a report of a two-vehicle accident with injuries in the 1500 block of East 4th Avenue. A 41-year-old man was cited for failure to yield.
On Tuesday, Aug. 25:
A 20-year-old Footville man was cited at 3:05 a.m. in the 2300 block of East 9th Avenue for illegal use of a farm truck registration and failure to apply for an address change.
A 29-year-old Monroe man was cited at 7:25 a.m. in the N200 block of 1st Center Avenue for driving with a revoked license.
On Wednesday, Aug. 26:
Graffiti on the roadway was reported at 10:01 a.m. in the 1200 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police canvassed the neighborhood. The case is under investigation.

Kyle Masbruch, 30, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated at 12:35 a.m. Sunday on West River Street. He was also cited for speeding.

MONROE - Chad E. Pehl, 41, Monroe, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and intimidation of a victim as the result of a disturbance at 9:02 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of West 21st Street. He was jailed pending court.

A gas drive-off that occurred the day before from a gas station in the 1400 block of Wis. 69 was reported at 8:38 a.m. Police attempted contact with the vehicle owner but could not reach him.
Cathryn S. Gabert, 36, Monroe, was cited multiple times for writing worthless checks (under $150) after police received multiple checks at 8:38 a.m. from a business in the 1400 block of Wis. 69. At 5:11 p.m., police received a check from another business in the same block, and Gabert was again cited for worthless checks, this time for a check under $500.
Police assisted a citizen at 10 a.m. in obtaining signs to warn motorists that children were in the area. Police also answered questions regarding speed limit signs.
Denis T. Krull, 39, New Glarus, was cited for illegal vehicle-window tint at 12:23 p.m. in the 600 block of Wis. 69.
Police assisted the Cottage Grove Police Department at 12:45 p.m. with a worthless check case they are working on.

Police responded to a complaint at 9 p.m. about some traffic cones being placed in the middle of 6th Avenue. The complainant was upset that there were no warning signs telling drivers that half of the lane was closed. Upon investigation, police found that a company was painting the cross walks and parking stalls and put the cones there to keep people from driving over wet paint. The company removed the cones.

MONROE - On Friday:
Elpidio Estrada Tejeda, 53, Janesville, was cited for driving without a license (first offense) after deputies responded at 4:41 a.m. to a traffic complaint in the W700 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove. Deputies located the vehicle pulled over on the side of the road. Brodhead police assisted at the scene.
Collin L. Brewer, 17, Albany, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 7:14 p.m. in the W1900 block of County EE, Town of Mount Pleasant.

She was jailed pending court.
