MONROE - A pickup truck caused damage to a resident's yard and property in the W1600 block of County F, Decatur Township. The driver had fled prior to law enforcement's arrival but evidence at the scene suggested the truck was westbound and left the roadway before the driver overcorrected, causing the truck to cross back over both lanes of traffic. The incident likely occurred between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday. The vehicle entered a ditch and onto the resident's yard. The tire marks left behind indicate it was a pickup truck. There were no identifiable auto parts found at the scene besides a piece of a grill. The truck would have passenger side damage and possible white-paint transfer on the vehicle. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Green County Sheriff's Office or Crimestoppers.
