MONROE - On Tuesday, Sept. 9:
At 11:55 a.m., deputies were advised of traffic complaint of a vehicle that was southbound on Wisconsin 69 from the University of Wisconsin-Clinic in Belleville. Deputies located and stopped the vehicle in the N3600 block of Wis. 69 in the Town of Monroe. The driver was identified as Karen L. Wirth, 52, Monroe. Wirth was arrested for a third offense of driving while intoxicated and was jailed.
Deputies were called at 9:47 p.m. to the area of Decatur Albany Road near the Sugar River, in the Town of Albany, for an injured owl on the road. Deputies located a large Great Horned Owl that had an injury to its left side. Deputies were able to place the owl in a cardboard box and transported it to an emergency vet service in Madison. Reports indicate that the care of the bird would be transferred to the Four Lakes Wildlife Center.

A deputy responded at 8:48 a.m. to a residence on S. Lafayette Street in the Village of Argyle for a report of harassment.
A deputy responded at 7:55 p.m. to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the Village of Blanchardville.
