MONROE - Jessica P. Gust, 19, Monroe, was arrested at 4:40 a.m. Thursday, March 29, on a body-only probation and parole warrant issued through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Her arrest followed a traffic stop in the 1000 block of 9th Street.
- Stephanie L. Baird, 31, Freeport, Ill., was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and battery at 5:46 p.m. Thursday, March 29, after police investigated a complaint that she had punched her boyfriend, a 27-year-old Monroe man, in a dispute earlier in the afternoon as they were exchanging their small child in the 1000 block of 17th Street. She was jailed. Her pre-trial conference on the two misdemeanor charges is set for May 15, according to online court records.
- Police issued code-violation warnings to four property owners on Thursday, March 29: to clean up an accumulation of trash outside a residence in the 1500 block of 15th Avenue; to remove a vehicle parked in a yard in the 2500 block of 16th Avenue; to remove a damaged vehicle with expired plates parked in a yard in the 2500 block of 13th Street; and to clean up an accumulation of trash and furniture in a yard in the 200 block of West 21st Street.
