Monroe Police

MONROE - Notices were issued Thursday, April 5, to property owners to clean up unregistered or uninsured vehicles parked in yards in the 1200 block of 19th Street, 1500 block of 16th Street and 2100 block of 15th Avenue.

A person called police at 12:56 p.m. Thursday, April 5, to complain that someone had poured hot sauce all over a vehicle in the 2400 block of 9th Street.

A dispute between a group of females over personal property at a residence in the 1100 block of 16th Avenue escalated Thursday, April 5, and led to two calls to police, at 5:39 and 6:15 p.m. Allegations of disorderly conduct are under investigation.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Amber N. Halverson, 24, Viroqua, was transported at 5:17 p.m. Thursday, April 5, from the Iowa County Jail to the Lafayette County Jail. She remains jailed awaiting transport to prison. She was convicted in Lafayette County in 2008 of obtaining narcotics through fraud and violating her probation conditions.

Laken C. Loonsfoot, 21, Warren, Ill., was cited for speeding and driving without a valid license at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, April 5, on County KK in the Town of Gratiot.

Johnny F. Cimino, 30, Winnebago, was cited for speeding at 5:06 p.m. Thursday, April 5, on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Shullsburg.

Denise A. Lindberg, 49, Arlington Heights, Ill., was cited for speeding at 5:24 p.m. Thursday, April 5, on Wis. 23 in the Town of Shullsburg.

Benjamin G. Kalinowski, 18, Argyle, was cited for violation of driver's license permit restrictions at 9:15 p.m. Thursday, April 5, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

A vehicle was stolen from a residence on Pickanax Street in Shullsburg, according to a report taken at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, April 5. The suspect and vehicle are believed to be in Oklahoma.

A burglary of a vehicle parked at a residence on County XX in the Town of Belmont was reported at 7:23 p.m. Thursday, April 5. The incident remains under investigation.
