Monroe Police

MONROE - On Tuesday:

• Cecilia Zepeda, 20, Monroe, was arrested at 12:24 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, third offense, driving a vehicle without the owner's consent and bail jumping in the 1400 block of 21st Avenue. Chief Fred Kelley said police received reports of a stolen vehicle and that the complainant knew who likely could have taken the vehicle. Zepeda was also cited for driving after revocation, open intoxicants in a vehicle and underage consumption of alcohol. She was jailed pending court. A passenger, Corey B. Hoskinson, 25, Monroe, was arrested for driving without the owner's consent and two counts of bail jumping. Kelley said Wisconsin state statutes allow that a passenger who knowingly participates in a vehicle theft can also be charged. Hoskinson was also cited for open intoxicants. He was jailed pending court.

• Christopher T. Allen, 39, Monroe, was arrested at 2:40 p.m. for disorderly conduct and resisting an officer in the 100 block of Swiss Court. Allen was jailed pending court.

• Dustin W. White, 21, Albany, was arrested at 10:08 p.m. for theft in the 2200 block of 1st Street. White was released pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Deputies and Monroe EMS responded at 4:57 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a drug overdose at a residence on Ullom Road, Town of Cadiz. Joseph Allen Lartz, 24, Brodhead, was subsequently arrested for possession of schedule I and II narcotics of Sentanyl and Oxycodone. Sentanyl is a prescribed pain reliever in the form of a patch that is placed on the skin; Oxycodone is also a pain reliever that comes in pill form. Sheriff Mark Rohloff said Lartz reportedly attempted to smoke the patch of Sentanyl, which caused him to overdose. When emergency responders arrived Lartz was breathing but needed medical attention. Lartz was jailed pending court.
