Monroe PoliceMONROE - On Tuesday, Oct. 2:• The owner of a business near Veolia Environmental Services, 127 7th St., emailed police to complain of bad smells emanating from the trash transfer station. An officer stopped by Veolia at 11:40 a.m. and advised the operations manager to close doors to the facility that had been standing open. No citation was issued.
