Monroe Police

MONROE - Police were dispatched at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday to a burglary in progress in the 1000 block of 17th Avenue. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival and the case remains under investigation.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Wednesday:

• David Paul Fleischman, 41, Oshkosh, was cited at 11:21 p.m. for driving without a valid commercial driver's license after deputies stopped the semi unit he was driving in the W1900 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Spring Grove. Fleischman was released pending court.

• Nicholas A. Stubbendick, 20, Janesville, was arrested at 3:03 p.m. on Bethel Road near Bloom Lane, Town of Monroe, on a Rock County warrant for failure to pay a fine. Deputies were dispatched to the area to investigate a suspicious subject walking on the roadway. Stubbendick was transported to the Rock County jail.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• A deputy responded to a report of a threat to injure on County G, Willow Springs Township, at 11:10 a.m.

• Deputies responded at 2:04 p.m. to a domestic dispute on South Division Street, Village of South Wayne.

• A deputy took a report of a suspicious vehicle at 11:13 p.m. on Fair View Street, Village of Blanchardville.
