MONROE - Police were dispatched at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday to a burglary in progress in the 1000 block of 17th Avenue. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival and the case remains under investigation.

MONROE - On Wednesday:
David Paul Fleischman, 41, Oshkosh, was cited at 11:21 p.m. for driving without a valid commercial driver's license after deputies stopped the semi unit he was driving in the W1900 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Spring Grove. Fleischman was released pending court.
Nicholas A. Stubbendick, 20, Janesville, was arrested at 3:03 p.m. on Bethel Road near Bloom Lane, Town of Monroe, on a Rock County warrant for failure to pay a fine. Deputies were dispatched to the area to investigate a suspicious subject walking on the roadway. Stubbendick was transported to the Rock County jail.

A deputy responded to a report of a threat to injure on County G, Willow Springs Township, at 11:10 a.m.
Deputies responded at 2:04 p.m. to a domestic dispute on South Division Street, Village of South Wayne.
A deputy took a report of a suspicious vehicle at 11:13 p.m. on Fair View Street, Village of Blanchardville.
