ALBANY POLICE

ALBANY - On Oct. 17, Tammy L. Matson, 45, Albany, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance.

On Oct. 21, Nicholas A. Phillips, 28, Albany, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance.



BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - For the week of Oct. 16 to Oct. 22, there were 40 citizen assists, 33 security checks, 24 calls for service, 20 assists of other agencies, nine 911 calls, eight vehicle registrations, five traffic stops, four EMS calls and two fire calls.

On Oct. 16:

• A 28-year-old Monroe man was cited at 11:05 a.m. for driving with a revoked license in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A 61-year-old Wauwatosa man was cited at 11:43 a.m. for speeding in the 600 block of 1st Street.

• A 29-year-old Monroe woman was cited at 12:06 p.m. for speeding in the 600 block of 1st Street.

• A 27-year-old Monroe woman was cited at 5:54 p.m. for disorderly conduct in the 1400 block of East 4th Avenue.

On Oct. 17:

• A theft was reported at 8:43 a.m. in the 900 block of East 3rd Avenue.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 1:12 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue. The case was referred to Juvenile Intake.

• A traffic complaint was made at 3:54 p.m. in the 2300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A 17-year-old girl was cited for underage possession of alcohol stemming from an incident on Oct. 3.

On Oct. 18:

• A fraudulent phone call was reported at 11:53 a.m. in the 1400 block of 21st Street.

• A 32-year-old Brodhead woman was cited at 2:14 p.m. for issuing worthless checks in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A 39-year-old Brodhead woman was cited at 2:16 p.m. for issuing worthless checks in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Wednesday, a theft was stolen in the 600 block of East 6th Avenue.

On Thursday:

• Police issued a warning to a juvenile at 9:16 a.m. for truancy in the 2100 block of West 9th Avenue.

• A parking complaint was made at 5:35 p.m. in the 1400 block of West 2nd Avenue.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 6:19 p.m. in the 700 block of 17th Street.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 6:49 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Friday:

• A 32-year-old Milwaukee man was cited at 2:33 p.m. for improperly stopping at a stop sign in the 100 block of 1st Street.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 4:02 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A 19-year-old Brodhead woman was cited at 4:25 p.m. for improperly turning into a driveway in the 2500 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 5:02 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A 28-year-old Brodhead man was arrested at 8:35 p.m. on a Waukesha County warrant in the 900 block of 13th Street.

On Saturday, police cited a truck driver at 3:23 a.m. for violating a heavy truck route ordinance in the 300 block of 2nd Street.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - On Friday, Richard C. Peterson, 56, Monroe, was arrested at 8:42 p.m. on a Dane County warrant for issuing worthless checks in the 1100 block of 10th Street.

On Saturday, Lindsay M. Rear, 32, Albany, was cited at 2:45 a.m. for disorderly conduct in the 1000 block of 9th Street.

NEW GLARUS - On Oct. 17:

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 8:41 p.m. in the 10 block of 14th Avenue.

• Police found lost property at 9:33 p.m. in the 300 block of 2nd Street.

• A domestic dispute was reported at 9:46 p.m. in the 500 block of 10th Avenue.

On Oct. 18:

• An illegally parked vehicle was reported at 9:47 a.m. in the 1000 block of 2nd Street.

• Police checked an individual's welfare at 11:25 a.m. in the 1400 block of 2nd Street.

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 4:12 p.m. in the 1500 block of 2nd Street.

• Melissa M. Mudgett, 26, Monticello, was cited at 8:19 p.m. for failing to stop at a stop sign in the 10 block of 3rd Avenue.

• A barking dog was reported at 8:42 p.m. in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue.

On Wednesday:

• Lost property was reported at 6:43 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 8:18 p.m. in the 10 block of Wisconsin 69.

Thursday:

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 11:16 a.m. in the 600 block of 6th Avenue.

• Police sectioned off a roadway causing a traffic hazard at 7:57 p.m. in the 500 block of Railroad Street.

On Friday:

• Police cited a vehicle at 12:49 a.m. for improper parking in the 100 block of 10th Avenue.

• Police assisted New Glarus utilities at 1:44 a.m. in the 200 block of Hoesly Drive.

• James P. Rugg, 69, Waukesha, was cited at 11:06 a.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• Police unlocked a vehicle at 2:35 p.m. in the 1700 block of 2nd Street.

• Suspicious people were reported at 8:37 p.m. in the elementary school parking lot.

• Police assisted a towing company with directions at 9:09 p.m.

On Saturday:

• Police helped unlock an apartment at 2:38 a.m.

• Laura R. Besley, 38, Madison, was cited at 10:38 a.m. for driving without vehicle insurance on Wis. 69.

• Kristine A. Pryor, 42, Belleville, was cited at 11:34 a.m. for a seatbelt violation and non-registration of a vehicle on 6th Avenue.

• Haley N. Ferro, 22, Monticello, was cited at 10:09 p.m. for driving with an expired registration and without vehicle insurance near the intersection of Railroad Street and 7th Avenue.

• Police assisted the Monticello Police at 11:04 p.m. with a disorderly conduct in Monticello.

On Sunday:

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 1:07 a.m. with a drunk-driving case.

• Police received a set of lost keys at 8:27 a.m. that were found in the downtown area.

• A dog at large was reported at 11:27 a.m. in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue.

• Police assisted a citizen at 9:07 p.m. with a probable internet scam.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Friday:

• Andrew P. Folk, 31, Dakota, Illinois, was cited at 8:31 a.m. for driving with a suspended license in the N2700 block of County S, Town of Sylvester.

• John D. Schuster, 52, Arlington Heights, Illinois, was cited at 12:13 p.m. for driving without a valid license in the W8600 block of Wis. 81, Town of Jordan.

• Carla J. Gray, 27, Freeport, was cited at 9:33 p.m. for driving without a suspended license in the W500 block of Wis. 11, Town of Decatur.

On Saturday, Alexander S. Fairbert, 28, Janesville, was cited at 6:12 p.m. for driving with a suspended license in the W5200 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe.

On Sunday, Timothy P. Abrahamson, 23, Belleville, was arrested at 1:07 a.m. for driving while intoxicated (first offense) and was cited for speeding, driving with a prohibited blood alcohol concentration, driving without proof of vehicle insurance and non-registration of a vehicle. Abrahamson was released pending court.

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Scott H. Roberts, 37, Benton, was cited at 12:32 a.m. for speeding on Wis. 11 in Benton.

• Livestock on the roadway were reported at 2:03 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.

• Livestock on the roadway were reported at 3:50 a.m. on County U, Town of Seymour.

• Suspicious activity was reported at 12:59 p.m. on County Y, Town of Wiota.

• Jesus Gutierrez-Soria, 18, Darlington, was arrested at 3:44 p.m. on a valid warrant and was jailed.

• A theft was reported at 4:26 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg.

• Chelsey L. Hankins, 24, Beloit, was cited at 7:11 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

• A deputy helped unlock a vehicle at 9 p.m. on West Estey Street in Shullsburg.

• Cornell A. Coleman, 20, Zion, Illinois, was cited at 10:33 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

• Livestock on the roadway were reported on 10:53 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

On Saturday:

• Criminal damage to property was reported at 8:32 a.m. on Wis. 78 in Argyle.

• Brian E. Johnson, 30, Argyle, was arrested at 9:45 a.m. for driving while intoxicated (fourth offense) on East Lamont Road, Town of Argyle. Johnson was jailed.

• An injured animal on the roadway was reported at 10:53 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle.

• An endangering safety complaint was made at 11 a.m. on County F, Town of Fayette.

• A vehicle with broken windows was reported at 12:25 p.m. on Martin Road, Town of Monticello.

• Humberto Covarrubias, 19, Fitchburg, was cited at 1:14 p.m. for an ATV violation on the Cheese Country Trail.
