BRODHEAD - An Orfordville 17-year-old was arrested for possession of marijuana and violation of graduated driver's license restrictions at about 7 p.m. Oct. 6 in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue. He was released on cash bond pending court.
Matthew R. Yapp, 23, Brodhead, was arrested at about 10:15 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 1000 block of West Exchange Street on an active warrant issued by Orfordville Municipal Court. He was released to Orfordville Police Department.
A 15-year-old female, Brodhead, was arrested for disorderly conduct, battery and resisting arrest at about 7 p.m. Oct. 7 in the 800 block of 8th Avenue. She was transported to Rock County Juvenile Detention.

MONROE - Coty D. Sweet, 20, Browntown, was arrested for violating the absolute sobriety law, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver's license, underage possession of alcohol and open intoxicants following a traffic stop at about midnight Saturday in the 1700 block of 9th Street. A 16-year-old passenger was cited for underage drinking-third offense, and open intoxicants. They were released pending court.
Jamil L. Brown, 30, Freeport, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-second offense, reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver's license, failing to yield /stop for an emergency vehicle and open intoxicants following a traffic stop at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of 11th Avenue. A passenger, Zachary L. Janssen, 18, Freeport, was cited for underage drinking. Brown was jailed. Janssen was released pending court.
Rocky J. Simler ll, 22, Monroe, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-first offense, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license following a traffic stop at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of 9th Street. Simler was jailed on a probation hold.
Amy J. Golackson, 40, Monroe, was cited for non-registration of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at about 9 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of West 21st Street. She was released pending court.
Nicolet G. Goebel, 50, Monroe, was cited for non-registration of a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at about 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of 8th Street. Goebel was released pending court.
New Glarus Police
NEW GLARUS - Several students were issued a verbal warning at about 8:30 a.m. Oct. 6, following a report of students entering the school building without permission the previous weekend. Police report an investigation revealed the students had not entered to commit any crimes.
A 16-year-old male was cited for disorderly conduct following a report of one student threatening another at about 12:45 p.m. Thursday at the New Glarus Middle School.
Gilberto L. Alba, 34, New Glarus, was cited for operating while revoked, following a stop at about 5:15 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 69 near 14th Avenue.

MONROE - Dale A. Pusel, 49, Monticello, was arrested at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday at the Sheriff's Department for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants. Pusel was released pending court.
At about 7:18 a.m., Saturday, deputies investigated numerous mailboxes deliberately damaged on Badger Road in the Town of York. The incident remains under investigation.

DARLINGTON - Suzanne McGowan, 40, Darlington, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated at about 5:30 a.m. Saturday on Parkinson Road in Fayette township.
Bradley Collins, 18, Cuba City, was cited for operating while suspended and speeding at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday on Center Drive Road in Elk Grove township.
Steven Appel, 24, Shullsburg, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while suspended at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday in the Village of Benton. A passenger, Joshua Deiter, 24, Shullsburg, was arrested on a valid Iowa County warrant. Deiter was jailed.
