Monroe Police

• Tyler P. McCabe, 24, Monroe, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated (first offense) and possession of a prescription medication after an employee at Taco Bell, 606 W. 8th St., reported a possibly intoxicated driver in the parking lot at 1:56 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 7. When officers arrived, they found the vehicle in gear in the parking lot. McCabe was also arrested on a warrant issued by the Department of Corrections. He was jailed.

• Jose Mauricio Luna Tirado, 19, South Wayne, was cited for violating the Absolute Sobriety law by driving while impaired by alcohol after police responded at 11:16 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, to a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries at the intersection of 19th Street and 15th Avenue. Luna Tirado collided with a vehicle driven by Asley L. Hermanson, 21, Monroe. Luna Tirado was also cited for driving without a license and failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign. He sustained minor injuries but declined treatment. Hermanson sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital by private vehicle. Both vehicles were severely damaged and towed from the scene by Don's Towing.

• A 14-year-old boy was warned not to skateboard in the street at 7:37 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, in the 1200 block of 16th Avenue.

• Citations are pending against five male students at Monroe High Schools for truancies reported at 7:53 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5. Three of the offenders are 15. The others are 14, 16, and 17. For the 16-year-old, it is third-offense truancy.

• A person walking a dog in East School Park, 2200 9th St., was warned at 8:45 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, that it is a violation of city code to walk a dog in city parks.

• Police took a report at 10:09 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, that a person took money out of an ATM at Wisconsin Community Bank, 1717 10th St., and then lost the cash somewhere in the area.

• An officer observed an elderly woman trip and fall at 3:21 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, on a residential sidewalk in the 600 block of 22nd Avenue. She declined medical attention or a ride home.

• A dog owner in the 1600 block of 25th Avenue was warned after police investigated a complaint of barking at 5:11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6.

• Police investigated a complaint at 2:28 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, that two puppies were left outside in a yard in the 1300 block of 10th Street. The dogs were deemed to be fine, but the owner brought them inside anyway.

• Police took a report at 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, that a Blackberry smartphone was lost somewhere on the downtown Square during the Chili Cook-off earlier in the day.

• Police are investigating a report of child abuse/neglect filed at 7:37 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, in the 300 block of 4th Avenue. No arrests have been made.

• Police took a report at 11:48 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, that a plastic clutch-type purse was lost "somewhere in Monroe."

• A gas drive-off of $24.98 was reported at Kwik Trip, 1019 9th St., at 12:32 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7. Arrangements were made for payment.

• A silver spoon is missing from an unlocked display case at the Green County Historical Museum, 1617 9th St. The possible theft was reported at 2:41 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7. The spoon is an antique dating to the 1920s.

• A 15-year-old girl was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at about 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, in the 2000 block of 5th Street. The girl's mother was driving her daughter to Monroe Clinic's ER because the teen told her she'd taken two Valium pills. At a stop sign, the girl jumped out of her mother's vehicle and was being disorderly, so the mother called police. At the ER, police discovered the girl had apparently lied about taking the Valium. When her mother told her she was getting her cellphone taken away, the girl flipped out and argued and resisted the police on scene. She was taken to the nearest juvenile detention center, in Rock County.

• Branden M. Roberge, 23, Freeport, was cited for theft at about 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, after police investigated a report that Roberge, a Walmart employee, stole a $20 Walmart gift card from the store in Monroe and used it at the Walmart in Freeport.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Justin M. Mojica, 28, New Glarus, was cited for retail theft at 11:50 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, after employees witnessed him shoplifting at Ampride Co-op, 1401 Wis. 69, and Roy's Market, 600 Wis. 69.

• Maegan J. Roesslein, 19, New Glarus, was cited for driving with a suspended license after police stopped her for an equipment violation in the 1100 block of Wis. 69 at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4.

• Elisabeth G. Anderson, 22, Argyle, was cited for driving with a revoked license at 8:14 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, in the 1300 block of Wis. 69.

• A theft from a vehicle in the 500 block of 14th Avenue was reported at 9:47 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3. The incident remains under investigation.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Kristine E. Woodard, 61, Davenport, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 6:17 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Shullsburg.

• Eliseo Martinez, 36, Fennimore, was cited for failure to control vehicle, non-registration of a vehicle and driving without a license or vehicle insurance after a deputy responded to a traffic crash at 7:55 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, on Wis. 23 in the Town of Darlington. Martinez rearended a vehicle driven by Alysa E. Carey, 21, Darlington, after Carey slowed for a deer in the road. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were moderately damaged. Martinez's passenger, Thomas Villar-Garcia, 32, Fennimore, was cited for having open intoxicants in a vehicle.

• Timothy J. Neff, 28, South Wayne, was cited for operating left of center at 8:35 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

• Tyler J. Gilbert, 20, DeForest, and Lauren M. Kalscheur, 20, Oregon, were cited for speeding and driving without vehicle insurance at 10:34 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

• Patrick J. Donovan, 34, Fitchburg, was cited for driving with an expired registration at 11:51 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

• Erin E. Poulos, 18, West Allis, was cited for speeding at 1:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

• Angie L. Dykes, 27, Mineral Point, was cited for speeding at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

• Robert E. Siebarth, 38, Palmyra, was cited for speeding and driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 11:47 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.

• A deputy responded at 6:44 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, to a report of a domestic dispute on Jenkynsville Road in Benton. Prior to the deputy's arrival, the male subject had left the scene. The incident remains under investigation.

• A deputy responded to County G in the Town of Kendall at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, to keep the peace during a civil dispute.

On Monday, Oct. 8:

• Antoine T. Williams, 32, Dubuque, Iowa, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at 10:21 p.m. following a disturbance at a residence on North Van Buren Street in Benton. Williams also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest with the Dubuque County Sheriff's Department. He was jailed.

• Russell S. Cox, 44, Apple River, Ill., was cited for speeding at 9:35 a.m. on Wis. 78 in the Town of Gratiot.

• Lureano Duran Hernandez, 22, Carpentersville, Ill., was cited for driving without a license at 5:05 p.m. on Wis. 81 in the Town of Seymour.

• A deputy investigated a report at 8:15 a.m. of harassment at a residence on Wis. 78 in the Town of Gratiot. The complainant was receiving unwanted text messages. The case remains under investigation.

Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Lisa A. Dayton, 47, Shullsburg, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 7:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, following a traffic stop on Galena Street.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Luis Angel Guarneros Morones, 21, Beloit, was cited for driving without a license after deputies stopped him for a traffic infraction at 12:42 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, on Wisconsin 11 at Hartwig Road. This is Guarneros Morones' second such offense in three years, elevating it to the level of traffic crime.
