MONROE - On Monday, Nov. 5:

• A resident in the 2400 block of 11th Street reported at 2:56 p.m. she found an unknown Husky mix tied to tree in her yard. The dog was turned over to the Green County Humane Society.

• Police are investigating a report taken at 3:08 p.m. of a debit card lost at Stop-N-Go that was then fraudulently used at a business elsewhere in Monroe.

• An employee at Pick 'n' Save, 246 8th St., reported at 5:39 p.m. a customer saw a person drive into the parking lot and dump off four kittens. Neither vehicle nor kittens were located.

• A woman in the 1500 block of Parkview Drive reported at 9:43 p.m. that another woman was sending her unwanted messages on Facebook. The officer advised her to unfriend and block the person.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Perry A. Reeve, 26, Monroe, and Rene P. Zimmerman, 32, were arrested on charges of possessing synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a one-vehicle crash in Juda at 5:19 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5. Reeve was eastbound in the W2900 block of Walnut Street when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle veered into the Jefferson Town Hall parking lot and then toward a parking lot owned by Sugar River Bank. It then hit a parked trailer owned by Green County Emergency Management. Reeve, Zimmerman and a second passenger, Terry L. Reece, 36, Juda, reported no injuries. Reeve was also cited for failure to maintain control. Zimmerman was also cited for a seatbelt violation. Both were released pending court. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed. The trailer was moderately damaged, as were items owned by the Juda Fire Department inside the trailer.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON-Christina I. Kurschner, 17, Darlington, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 12:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, on Verley Street in South Wayne.

• Wilhelmus M. Pannekoek, 20, Dubuque, Iowa, was cited for underage drinking and released to a responsible adult at 1:14 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, after police responded to County O in the Town of Shullsburg to check on the welfare of a person walking on the road.

• Dalton A. Larson, 18, South Wayne, was cited on South Galena Street in South Wayne at 10:10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, for failure to stop at a stop sign, unreasonable and imprudent speeding and for not having a rear mirror.

• A tree stand was reported stolen from the woods near Rowesville Road in the Town of Seymour at 4:18 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.

• A deputy responded to Woods Branch Road in the Town of Kendall at 3:52 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, to take a complaint that someone was shooting a gun across the road.

• A deputy responded to West High Street in Shullsburg at 6:44 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, for a complaint of suspicious activity. A male subject was reportedly taking pictures of a residence. The male could not be located.

• A deputy responded at 8:22 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, to a report of a vehicle shining a spotlight into yards as it traveled eastbound on Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Argyle. The vehicle was not located.
