DARLINGTON - William C. Wilber IV, 31, Hanover, Ill., was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, following a traffic stop on Wisconsin 23.

MONROE - On Wednesday, Nov. 28:
James L. Cowell, 26, Monroe, was cited for retail theft at 7:24 p.m. at Shopko, 405 W. 8th St. He reportedly switched the tags on a cap and shirt to pay less for the items.
A resident in the 1300 block of 22nd Street called police at 9:37 a.m. to report a sick-looking raccoon on the front porch. The resident was afraid to leave out the front door. An officer came and scooted the animal off the porch with a shovel.
Police responded to a complaint of annoying calls between family members at 1:17 p.m. in the 1700 block of 11th Street. One cousin was accusing the other cousin of leaving nasty voicemails and sending unwanted texts. The offending cousin was warned to stop.
A gas drive-off was reported at 4:25 p.m. at Kwik Trip, 1019 9th St.
A woman in the 2000 block of 9th Avenue reported at 4:34 p.m. she was receiving inappropriate texts from an unknown number. An officer called the number and warned the man on the other end to stop.
A tenant in the 2200 block of 1st Street complained at 10:03 p.m. that the upstairs neighbors were constantly pounding their feet on the floor. An officer stopped by the upstairs apartment and advised the tenants to be quieter. The downstairs tenant was told to take their complaint to the landlord if the problem continues.

DARLINGTON - A hit-and-run traffic accident that occurred Monday in the school parking lot on Alma Street in Benton was reported at 10:14 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28. Marilyn J. Hughes, 63, Cuba City, told a deputy she left her 2010 Hyundai car parked legally, and an unknown vehicle hit it as it sat unoccupied.
A deputy investigated a burglary to a storage unit on Liberty Street in the Town of Belmont.
