Monroe Police

MONROE - A 21-year-old Monroe man was referred for a citation and reported to his parole agent after police responded at 11:06 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, to a report of a disturbance among family members in an apartment in the 1300 block of 16th Street. The man allegedly kicked his sister's door, then ran and hid in a neighbor's apartment when he heard police were coming.

On Tuesday, Nov. 26:

• The theft of a snowblower from a residential garage in the 2000 block of 18th Avenue was reported at 9:29 p.m. Medications were also reported missing from the home.

• Police were requested at 10:40 a.m. to stand by while the manager of a trailer park on Swiss Court gave notice to a tenant to clean up around his trailer. She has previously had problems with him yelling at her and giving her the finger.

• A missing 3-year-old autistic child was reported missing at 10:54 a.m. at Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W. The child was located 20 minutes later outside and turned over to the parents.

• Police assisted Green County Human Services with an interview in a child abuse case at 2:17 p.m. in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue West.

• A 12-year-old student at Monroe Middle School reported at 4:01 p.m. that a fellow student, a 13-year-old boy, has been constantly harassing her. Police talked with both and warned them to stay away from each other.

• Bart E. Jenson, 41, Monroe, was arrested at 4:08 p.m. at the Green County Justice Center on a probation hold issued by the Probation and Parole Office. He was at the probation office when they requested that he be arrested. He was jailed.

• Jerome E. Bass, Jr., 21, Beloit, was arrested at 6:34 p.m. in the 800 block of 30th Street on an apprehension request issued by the Probation and Parole Office. He was jailed.

• A resident in the 2300 block of 16th Avenue called 911 at 8:17 p.m. to report that someone came up to the front door of her house and tried to open it but couldn't get in. There were footprints in the snow, but police located no one in the area.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Nicole L. Harding, 38, Brodhead, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, on County EE at Trumpy Road in Mount Pleasant Township.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday, Nov. 26:

• Retail theft was reported at 10:12 a.m. on East Main Street in Benton.

• A deputy responded at 4:55 p.m. to Wis. 81 in Elk Grove Township to assist a motorist by providing traffic control until a disabled vehicle was removed by a towing service.

• Troy D. Jamison, 22, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 9:05 p.m. on County E in Shullsburg Township.
