Albany Police

ALBANY - Felipe Herrera Gonzalez, 24, Albany, was cited Wednesday, Nov. 14, for driving with a revoked license.

• Ronal A. Cruz Zambrano, 25, Brooklyn, was cited Thursday, Nov. 15, for driving without a license.

• Olivia Lou Jean Halvorson, 23, Belleville, was cited Friday, Nov. 16, for driving with a revoked license and no license plates and for unreasonable and imprudent speeding.

Monroe Police

MONROE - David A. Burgos, 22, Monroe, was arrested on a probation hold issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections after police identified him as the offender in a hit-and-run accident at 9th Street and 13th Avenue at 3:42 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17. A tan-colored Buick driven by a white male, later identified as Burgos, had collided with a vehicle driven by Andrew R. Kubly, 25, Monroe, and then left the scene. Burgos was later located and cited for failure to yield while making a left turn, hit-and-run and driving without a valid license. He was jailed.

• Glenn J. Higgins, 20, and Edward D. Hille, 18, both of Monroe, were cited for underage drinking at 10:13 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in the 2200 block of 14th Avenue. A 16-year-old male was also cited at the scene for underage drinking.

• A small bike with a missing rear brake was found near the Swiss Colony shipping yard, 1112 7th Ave., and turned over to police at 10:54 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16. To claim, call dispatch at (608) 329-2400.

• An employee at Ruda Chevrolet, 104 8th St., reported at 12:34 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, that a man and woman came in that morning to test drive a pick-up truck and then used it to transport scrap metal to a salvage yard, leaving the truck with scratches. No citations were issued. Police determined the matter was a civil issue between the dealership and the man and woman to work out between themselves.

• A dog owner was warned to tie up the animals more humanely after police responded at 12:52 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, to a complaint that the dogs were getting tangled up on their leashes outside a residence in the 1000 block of 17th Street.

• Two nail guns worth $300 each and prescription pills were reported stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 1700 block of 12th Street at 4:47 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16.

• An employee at AmericInn, 424 4th Ave., reported at 2:21 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, that a man and woman staying at the motel were causing a disturbance by trying to have sex in the hallway. The couple had taken their amorous activities inside their room by the time officers arrived.

• Police were dispatched at 10:39 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, to a child custody dispute in the 500 block of West 21st Street. An officer talked with the mother and father to try to figure out a solution.

• A teen boy was warned not to skateboard in the 1800 block of 9th Street at 5:01 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17.

• A dog owner was warned to shorten the leash on the dog after police responded at 5:25 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, to a complaint that a dog tied up outside a residence in the 1300 block of 16th Avenue was chasing passersby on the sidewalk.

• A sick raccoon was reported at 10:25 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, in the 1300 block of 4th Avenue West. It was euthanized.

• A man in the 2000 block of 16th Street complained at 2:25 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, that his ex-wife had called his current wife, possibly in violation of a no-contact order. The officer determined no violation had occurred but warned the ex-wife to avoid making contact anyway.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Andrew S. Rozell, 24, Beloit, was cited for driving with a revoked license and no vehicle insurance at 11:36 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, after deputies stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation on East Lake Avenue and South Pierce Street in Monticello.

• Benjamin M. Chicker, 22, Albany, was cited for disorderly conduct after deputies were dispatched at 3:19 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, to a report of a person yelling and threatening others at a residence in the 700 block of 6th Street in Albany.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Brad A. Scott, 34, Shullsburg, was arrested on a charge of battery after deputies and Shullsburg Ambulance responded to a disturbance at a residence on Water Street in Shullsburg at 8:43 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18. Scott posted bond and was released.

• Douglas E. Sutcliffe, 18, Mazomanie, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 3:17 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, on Wis. 78 in the Town of Argyle.

• Amanda L. Penniston, 31, Argyle, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 3:37 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, on Wis. 78 in the Town of Argyle.

• Alex L. Bird, 24, Gratiot, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 9:01 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, on Wis. 78 in the Town of Gratiot.

• Johnathon T. Morrissey, 19, Crystal Lake, Ill., was cited for speeding at 6:45 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, on Wis. 81 in the Town of Darlington.

• Edward J. Headings, 76, Lorimor, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs.

• Janet L. Ihus, 51, Darlington, was cited for allowing her dog to run at large after a deputy responded at 4:39 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, to a report of a dog running loose and destroying property on County F in the Town of Fayette.

• Zachary B. Thompson, 28, Monroe, was cited for driving with an expired registration at 9:57 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, on County KK in the Town of Gratiot.

• Gretchen W. Howe, 34, Nora, Ill., was cited for speeding at 10:25 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, on County KK in the Town of Gratiot.

• Todd R. Johnson, 43, South Wayne, was cited for allowing his dog to run at large at 12:09 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, after a deputy responded to a complaint of a dog running loose on North Warren Street in South Wayne. Johnson pulled his vehicle up to the east side of the street and jumped out to grab his dog. Because he didn't put his vehicle in park before he jumped out, it rolled backward down the hill and across the street before hitting a utility pole. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• A deputy responded at 12:05 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, to County G in the Town of Argyle for a trespassing complaint.

• A deputy responded at 11:40 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, to Wis. 78 in the Town of Gratiot for a trespassing complaint.

• A deputy responded at 11:55 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, to a report of vandalism on McClintock Lane in the Town of Blanchard.
