MONROE - On Friday, Nov. 15:
Jeremy W. Green, 33, Browntown, was cited for driving with a suspended license and without vehicle insurance after police responded at 3:06 p.m. to a two-vehicle accident without injuries in the 700 block of 3rd Avenue. Green collided with a vehicle driven by Lynn A. Brooks, 45, Monroe, causing moderate damage to both vehicles.
On Saturday, Nov. 16:
Catherine M. Ebbert-Seffrood, 35, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving while intoxicated at 1:51 a.m. in the 900 block of 26th Street. She was also cited for driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration, unsafe backing, hit-and-run on an unattended vehicle and failure to notify police of an accident that occurred in the 1400 block of 17th Street. She was released pending court.
DeWayne P. Williams, 36, Browntown, was arrested at 10 p.m. in a parking lot in the 500 block of 6th Street on a warrant issued by the Rock County Sheriff's Department. He's also facing related felony charges of marijuana possession (second or greater offense) and marijuana possession with intent to deliver, plus a misdemeanor count of possessing drug paraphernalia. Court records indicate officers found 13 individually wrapped packages of marijuana in his pants pockets, totaling 13.8 grams, as well as an electronic scale and a blunt. Williams faces additional penalties for repeat offenses and for possessing drugs with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school (Parkside Elementary). He was jailed. His signature bond is set at $5,000. He has a preliminary hearing Nov. 22.
On Sunday, Nov. 17:
Michael L. Maginnis, 23, Rockford, and Brittany S. McIntyre, 23, Clinton, were arrested at 1:47 a.m. in the 2300 block of 6th Avenue. Maginnis was jailed on a probation/parole violation. McIntyre was unable to post the required cash bond on a warrant issued by the Beloit Police Department and was also jailed.
New Glarus Police
NEW GLARUS - Julie P. Dorsey, 55, Freeport, was cited for inattentive driving after police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Wis. 39 and Wis. 69 at 2:23 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12. Dorsey was driving a 2006 Honda Odyssey when she rearended a 2010 Ford Transit driven by Crystal L. Blakely, 35, Monroe. One driver reported injuries but declined medical attention. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
Jacob E. Baker, 31, New Glarus, was cited for driving with an expired vehicle registration at 3:24 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, in the 1400 block of 2nd Street.
Police responded to a residential alarm in the 800 block of 14th Avenue at 1:33 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14. Everything was found to be OK. Construction workers set off the alarm accidentally.
Quinn E. Bergum, 22, Evansville, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance, plus arrested on a Rock County Sheriff's warrant for failure to pay a fine on a ticket for allowing underage drinking as an adult, after police stopped a vehicle for a defective license plate lamp on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue at 7:35 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14. He posted bond and was released.
