MONROE POLICE

MONROE - Martin Fernandez Fernandez, 23, Monroe, was arrested for a warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department at about 9:30 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of 17th Street. He was jailed.

NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - Police are investigating a burglary at the Swiss Bowling Lanes. Police report entry was made by breaking a window. An undisclosed amount of cash and several packs of cigarettes were taken. Anyone with information can contact the police department at (608) 527-2145.

BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - Trevor T. Klein, 17, and Erik R. Jacobson, 19, both of Brodhead, were cited for discharging a firearm Friday. The charge stems from a Nov. 6 incident.

• Matthew L. Richards, 22, Brodhead, was cited for permitting underage drinking Nov. 12. The charge stems from an Oct. 26 incident.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - Scott W. Bartosik, 50, South Wayne, was arrested for drunken driving, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday on Wildlife Road in Wiota township. He was jailed. A passenger in the vehicle, Judy B. Collins, 45, Argyle, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released pending court.

• Travis J. Stymiest, 19, Platteville, was arrested for violating the absolute sobriety law and speeding following a traffic stop at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in Mitchell Hollow Road in Belmont township. He was released pending court.

• Bradford J. Brush, 26, Argyle, was arrested for a Wisconsin Department of Corrections hold following a report of a suspicious person in a building at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday on Whiteside Road in Argyle township.

• Tondia R. Mutert, 44, Shullsburg, was cited for driving with an expired registration and speeding following a traffic stop at about 4 p.m. Friday on County I in New Diggings township.

• Wayne W. Vosberg, 36, Cuba City, was cited for driving with an expired registration following a traffic stop at about 9:45 p.m. Friday on County J in Benton.

• Joel A. Groom, 24, Shullsburg, was cited for non-registration of a vehicle following a traffic stop at about 1 p.m. Saturday on Twin Bridge Road in New Diggings township.
