Monroe Police

MONROE - Alex J. Meives, 29, Monroe, was arrested at 9:45 a.m. in the 1100 block of 16th Avenue on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant. Meives was jailed pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:

• Deputies responded to a report of a burglary to a residence on Park Street, Village of Benton. The incident remains under investigation.

• Ashley J. Leffler, 25, Cuba City; Bradley C. Burgess, 17, Lancaster; Mitchell R. Engebretson, 31, Potosi, and Christopher K. Bennett, 38, Benton, were all arrested at 8:02 p.m. following a traffic stop on Main Street, Village of Benton. Burgess, Engebretson and Bennett remain jailed on probation holds while Leffler was released from custody.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Alan Corley, 30, Darlington, and Nicholas Fortner, 33, Palatine, Ill., were cited Thursday for disorderly conduct following an investigation into a fight that occurred at an Alice Street tavern on Oct. 25.
