Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Taurino Vega-Trujillo, 20, Darlington, was cited for underage alcohol consumption at about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, following an investigation of a disturbance at a business on Main Street.

• Francisco Cartagena-Marquez, 26, Darlington, was cited for using false identification at about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, after he opened a bank account with a fake social security card.

Monroe Police

MONROE - A property owner in the 1300 block of 23rd Avenue was warned after police responded to a complaint at 8:26 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, of two vehicles parked in the yard.

• An unleashed, uncontrolled dog was reported at 7:32 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, in the 1200 block of 19th Street. The dog's owner was warned.

• A property owner in the 1700 block of 17th Street was warned after police responded to a complaint at 9:21 a.m. Thursday, May 10, of junk in the yard, an unmowed lawn and an undesirable odor wafting from the garage.

• The theft of a laptop computer with an estimated value of $800 was reported at 12:55 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at Monroe Alternative Charter School, 1220 16th Ave. Police have suspects. The case is still under investigation.

• A property owner in the 1400 block of 21st Avenue was warned to mow the lawn after police responded to a complaint at 1:07 p.m. Thursday, May 10.

• The theft of a GPS unit worth about $200 was reported at 8:46 p.m. Thursday, May 10, from an unlocked vehicle in the 1300 block of 15th Avenue. The theft reportedly occurred sometime between 6 and 8:30 p.m.

DARLINGTON - Bridgette R. Linneman, 18, Belmont, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 9:40 p.m. Thursday, May 10, on West Mound Road in the Town of Belmont.
