Monroe Police

MONROE - Police referred three cases of truancy, involving a 13-year-old boy, 11-year-old girl and 15-year-old girl, to Green County Human Services at 11:20 a.m. Monday, March 4.

• A landlord reported at 12:45 p.m. Monday, March 4, that tenants in a building in the 2300 block of 17th Avenue had vandalized the apartment. Police advised this is a civil matter.

• Police were dispatched to a verbal disagreement between a husband and wife in an apartment building in the 300 block of 2nd Street at 7:29 p.m. Monday, March 4.

• Police referred the case of a habitual runaway, a 17-year-old girl, to Green County Human Services after a parent reported her missing again Tuesday, March 5, from a residence in the 2000 block of 14th Avenue.

• A 56-year-old woman slipped and fell on an icy sidewalk in front of a residence in the 2100 block of 9th Street at 4:35 a.m. Tuesday, March 5. She was transported by EMS for her injuries. Police called in the street department to salt the sidewalk and warned the resident to take care of this in the future.

• A passport and cash were reported lost in the area of Amcore Bank, 1625 10th St., at 9:37 a.m. Tuesday, March 5.

• Unwanted texts from a family member were reported in the 900 block of 4th Street at 12:56 p.m. Tuesday, March 5.

• A person in the 800 block of 11th Avenue lodged a complaint at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, about how city crews plowed a private road.

Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Christine A. Lovell, 41, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license at about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, following a traffic stop on Main Street.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Monday, March 4:

• A deputy responded at 11:09 a.m. to Jenkynsville Road in Benton to keep the peace during a civil dispute.

• An injured animal was reported at 7:07 p.m. on County G in the Town of Willow Springs.
