Monroe Police

MONROE - Raymond D. Ratcliff, 55, Monroe, was arrested at the Monroe Police Department at 2:41 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, on a probation hold issued by the Department of Corrections for failure to comply with sex offender registry rules. He was jailed. According to Police Chief Fred Kelley, Ratcliff recently moved to Monroe but did not register his new address with the state's sex offender database. His address was updated on March 20 on the Wisconsin database to 812 6th Street, Apt. 105, but it is not yet verified. The Iowa sex offender database shows Ratcliff was convicted in 1989 of third-degree sexual abuse and in 1995 of a criminal sexual assault.

- Laci R. Frauchiger, 21, Monroe, was arrested in the 500 block of West 21st Street at 9:19 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, on a warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Department for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of THC possession. She was jailed.

- An officer put a squirrel out of its misery with a quick blow of a stick after police were called to the 1900 block of 7th Street at 3:26 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, for a report that an area cat had disabled the rodent.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Krystal K. Pagel, 24, Evansville, was taken into custody at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, on a warrant issued by Green County for unpaid child support. She was jailed.

- Becky L. Boeck, 41, Monroe, was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign and transported by Monroe EMS with injuries at 10:51 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, following a two-vehicle crash at Hummer Road and Twin Grove Road in the Town of Jefferson. Boeck was reportedly hit by a vehicle driven by Morgan O. Rockey, 17, Rock City, Ill. Rockey was also injured in the accident and transported by EMS. The vehicles were moderately damaged and towed from the scene.
