Monroe Police

MONROE - Christopher J. Martinez, 29, Monroe, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of bail jumping and cited for driving a vehicle with a revoked license at 11:10 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, in the 1500 block of 21st Avenue. He posted bond and was released pending court.

- A gas drive-off of $87.94 was reported at a gas station in the 700 block of 8th Street at 8:42 a.m. Wednesday, March 28. The vehicle owner was contacted and paid for the fuel.

- A parent filed a complaint at 4:26 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, that two 13-year-old students at Monroe Middle School, 1510 13th St., had been pushing and using sticks against each other earlier in the afternoon. No injuries were reported. The case is under investigation.

- Police responded to a verbal altercation between two 13-year-old girls who were arguing over a boy in Recreation Park, 1700 22nd Ave., at 5:31 p.m. Wednesday, March 29. The girls were warned to stop.

- A gas drive-off of $25 was reported at a gas station in the 1600 block of 9th Street at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday, March 28. The vehicle owner was contacted and paid for the fuel.

- A notice was sent to a property owner in the 1100 block of 9th Street on Wednesday, March 27, to remove an unregistered vehicle parked on the lawn.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Cody R. Rackow, 22, Monroe, was cited at 1:41 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, for driving with a revoked license in the W5800 block of County P.

- Donald E. Powers, 49, Juda, was arrested on charges of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and felony bail jumping at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, after deputies responded to a residence in the Town of Spring Grove for a reported domestic dispute. The Department of Corrections placed a probation warrant on Powers. He was jailed pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - James A. Kurth, 29, Apple River, Ill., was cited for improper motor vehicle registration at 2:44 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, on Wisconsin 78 in the Town of Gratiot.

- Douglas William Champion, 18, Shullsburg, was arrested at an unspecified location at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, on warrants issued by Lafayette County. He is being held in the Lafayette County Jail.

- A gasoline theft was reported at 8:21 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, on Jordan Wiota Road in the Town of Wiota.

- A deputy responded at 4:48 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, to County F in the Town of Darlington for a report of nails spilled on the roadway.
