Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Christine L. Lisser, 27, Albany, was cited at 7:15 p.m. Saturday for not having proof of insurance following a traffic violation in the W2000 block of Wisconsin 59, Town of Albany. A passenger, Daniel G. Benkert, 29, Albany, was cited for possession of 25 grams or less of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both subjects were released pending court.

• Donald J. Alexander, 23, Brodhead, was arrested at 2:36 p.m. Friday on a probation warrant at the Green County Justice Center. Alexander was jailed pending court.

• Aaron R. Tullis, 32, Monroe, was cited at 5:59 p.m. Sunday for driving after suspension after deputies stopped his vehicle for a traffic violation in the W5200 block of Wisconsin 11, Monroe Township.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Taja Y. Iwnow, 33, Monroe, was arrested at 8:19 p.m. Friday for driving while under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and bail jumping after police came upon a vehicle stuck in the snow on 13th Street at 31st Avenue. Iwnow posted bond and was released pending court.

On Saturday:

• Randall S. Zuber, 37, Monroe, was arrested at 1:23 a.m. on three counts of bail jumping and one count of resisting an officer following a traffic stop in the 1500 block of 11th Street. Zuber was a passenger in a vehicle being stopped and was charged with resisting after Zuber fled from the vehicle and had to be captured. Zuber's bail jumping charges were for consuming intoxicants, being in the presence of a person he was court-ordered to stay away from and for committing a new crime in resisting. Zuber was jailed pending court. The driver also faces pending charges for fleeing from officers.

• Ashley R. Neuenschwander, 18, Monroe, was arrested at 2:07 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration and cited for failure to keep a vehicle under control, driving after suspension and underage drinking after police responded to a vehicle stuck in a snow bank on 22nd Avenue at Ridgeway Road. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Neuenschwander was released pending court.

• Justin D. Kainz, 23, Monroe, was arrested at 3:25 a.m. for driving while under the influence of an intoxicant, possession of drug paraphernalia and a probation violation in the 800 block of 10th Avenue. Kainz was jailed pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A deputy responded at 7:22 a.m. for an animal in the roadway complaint on County Shop Road, Darlington Township.

• Jamie Dammen, 29, Hazel Green, was cited at 10:48 a.m. for driving after revocation following a traffic complaint on County W, New Diggings Township.

On Saturday:

• A deputy took a report of a dog bite at 4:50 p.m. on Grant Road, Fayette Township.

• A deputy checked the welfare of an individual on Wis. 11, Shullsburg, at 6:40 p.m.

On Sunday:

• Tyler Meyer, 29, and Deanne Kim, 35, both of Blanchardville, were cited at 3:18 p.m. for disorderly conduct on School Street, Village of Blanchardville. Both subjects were booked and released.

• A deputy checked the welfare of an individual at 4:50 p.m. on South Mound Avenue, Village of Belmont.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Nicholas Howell, 18, Hollandale; Brakkin Briggs, 17, New Glarus; and Cole Gollmer, 17, Darlington, were all cited at about 2:46 a.m. Saturday for underage alcohol consumption following a traffic stop on Wisconsin 23. Briggs and Gollmer were also cited for underage possession of tobacco. The driver, Ciara Hefty, 16, Belleville, was cited for graduated driver's license passenger violations and GDL curfew violations.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Police responded at 7:35 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, to a burglar alarm in the 1100 block of Wisconsin 69. Everything was found to be OK.

On Thursday:

• Police took a complaint of a person calling a resident posing as an IRS agent to obtain personal information at 11:35 a.m. The department is encouraging citizens not to give out information over the phone as there is a national alert on this type of fraud.

• Gregory S. Grinder, 37, New Glarus, was cited at 4:47 p.m. for theft of property following an investigation into missing jewelry from a residence in the village.
