NEW GLARUS - On Thursday:
Police responded at 12:13 a.m. for a welfare check in the 600 block of 1st Street. An intoxicated person who may have also tried to overdose on prescription medication was taken by EMS to the Monroe Clinic ER to be evaluated. The Green County Sheriff's Office and Belleville and Monroe Police Departments assisted.
A set of missing keys misplaced somewhere in the village was reported at 10:47 a.m.
Students driving recklessly at the end of school days leaving the high school were reported at 10:44 a.m.
Police assisted a citizen needing fingerprints for a job application at 5:10 p.m.
An animal complaint was reported at 6:21 p.m. in the 700 block of 6th Avenue. The dog owner was warned about the allowable number of dogs in the village and told to license his pets.
Police cited a vehicle for a 24-hour parking violation at 6:37 p.m. in the 700 block of Railroad Street.
Police responded at 6:54 p.m. to a residence in the 1000 block of 8th Street. The caller reported that clothing had been stolen and other items urinated on in the laundry area of the building.
On Friday:
Police warned a citizen who was parked illegally in the 300 block of 2nd Street at 10:20 a.m.
Maurice D. King, 47, New Glarus, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. on an active warrant issued by Green County Circuit Court. He was booked at the jail.
An abandoned vehicle in the 700 block of 7th Street was reported at 4:39 p.m. The vehicle was towed.
A blonde-type chicken was reported at large in the 300 block of 6th Avenue at 5:52 p.m. The chicken's owner was located and advised of the ordinance regarding animals at large.
On Saturday:
A dog running at large in the 400 block of 5th Avenue was reported at 10:08 a.m. A picture of the dog was posted on the Police Department's Facebook page and, within 20 minutes, the dog owner was located.
Police issued a parking citation in the 500 block of Railroad Street at 7:53 p.m.
Rebecca Boss, 43, Monroe, was cited for speeding at 9:28 p.m. in the 700 block of Wis. 69.
Matthew Smazal, 36, Pittsville, was cited for speeding and driving without a valid license at 9:57 p.m. in the 700 block of Wis. 69.
On Sunday:
A missing rat terrier dog, black and brown in color, was reported missing at 12:51 p.m.

DARLINGTON - On Friday:
A suspicious vehicle was reported at 1:03 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.
Martin E. Campbell, 38, Apple River, Illinois, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 2:33 a.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.
Christine M. Stephens, 59, Cuba City, was cited for speeding at 6:21 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.
A theft was reported at 7:06 a.m. on Crist Lane, Town of Willow Springs.
A deputy responded at 9:22 a.m. for a welfare check on Tama Run Lane, Town of Darlington.
Debris in the roadway was reported at 11:07 a.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont. University of Wisconsin-Platteville Police assisted on scene.
Tara J. Jones, 47, Platteville, was arrested on a warrant at 12:55 p.m. and taken to the county jail.
Suspicious activity was reported at 1:32 p.m. on Alma Street in Benton.
Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:58 p.m. on County U, Town of Seymour.
Michael R. Frechette, 17, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 4:40 p.m. on Mineral Road, Town of Seymour.
Chelsea R. Galloway, 26, Belmont, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated after deputies responded at 5:30 p.m. to Dawn Vista Drive in Belmont for a welfare check. Belmont Ambulance Service assisted on scene. Galloway was taken to the jail, then released to a responsible party.
