Green County Sheriff

MONROE - John R. Emery IV, 31, Argyle, was arrested on a charge of driving while under the influence of an intoxicant (second offense) and cited for speeding at 1:27 a.m. Thursday, March 22, after deputies stopped him for speeding in the W6700 block of Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Monroe. He was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Randy A. Filer, 50, Helensville, was cited for speeding at 8:04 p.m. Thursday, March 22, on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

• Brandon L. Hudson, 18, Argyle, was cited for speeding and driving with no vehicle insurance at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Shullsburg.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Two boys, ages 15 and 16, were cited for disorderly conduct after officers responded to a physical confrontation in Recreation Park, in the 1700 block of 22nd Avenue, at 7:38 p.m. Thursday, March 22. There were no visible injuries but both boys were accusing the other of various misdeeds and wanted the other arrested, according to Lt. Mark Rohloff. Police contacted their parents and released the boys pending court.

• A teenage runaway was reported at 11:02 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, from the 2000 block of 14th Avenue, but the girl was later located at her sister's house. Police referred the case to Green County Humane Services.
