MONROE - On Wednesday, March 20:
Police responded at 7:40 a.m. to a citizen's complaint of an unshoveled sidewalk in the 1500 block of 10th Street. The resident has taken care of it.
An officer on patrol noticed an unshoveled sidewalk in the 1900 block of 9th Street at 10:15 a.m. and left a warning notice at the residence.
A sick stray cat was reported at 10:56 a.m. in the 3000 block of 16th Street. A resident fed the animal and gave it medication but now doesn't want responsibility for it. The case was referred to the Green County Humane Society.
Police were called at 12:55 p.m. to a dispute over a car trailer between a resident in the 1500 block of 16th Street and a man known to the resident only by his nickname, "Crash." Police advised the resident the case is not criminal and belongs in small claims court.
A resident in the 700 block of 17th Avenue was warned to clear an unshoveled sidewalk after police responded at 3:34 p.m. to a citizen's complaint.
An officer was dispatched at 4:28 p.m. to the 800 block of 6th Street to referee a civil dispute between parents over child custody and visitation.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE - Andrew Spencer Rozell, 24, Beloit, was taken into custody at the Green County Justice Center at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, on three outstanding warrants issued by the Green County Circuit Court. He was given a signature bond on these warrants. Rozell also had an outstanding warrant issued by the Rock County Circuit Court. He was jailed on this warrant pending transport to Rock County.
Lafayette County Sheriff
DARLINGTON - On Wednesday, March 20:
David A. Burgos, 22, Monroe, was transported at 11:30 a.m. from the Green County Jail to Lafayette County for a court appearance, and then afterward returned to the Green County Jail.
Michael D. Pennell, 21, and Kevin W. Hansen, 45, both of Gratiot, were taken into custody at 2:34 p.m. and jailed on warrants issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
Carolyn M. Walkup, 79, State Center, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 11:22 a.m. on Wisconsin 11 in Shullsburg Township.
David A. Partridge, 50, Sullivan, was cited for driving without a valid license and transported by Belmont EMS to Southwest Health Center in Platteville after deputies responded at 5:05 p.m. to a report of a man pulled into the median and in need of medical assistance on U.S. 151 in Belmont Township.
Lindsey E. Lee, 31, Shullsburg, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 9:53 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Benton Township.
Richard A. Grolbert, 32, Belmont, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 11:57 p.m. on West Platteville Avenue in Belmont.
