Monroe Police

MONROE - Kacy L. Dearing, 40, New Glarus, was arrested at 10:07 p.m. Friday for bail jumping in the 400 block of 14th Avenue. He was jailed pending court. Online court records indicate Dearing was out on bail for previous charges of using a phone to send threatening messages. Conditions of his bond required that he not drink, go to bars and liquor stores and have no contact with the victim of his other pending charges.

• Steven S. Strossner, 24, Orangeville, was arrested at 2:36 a.m. Saturday for driving while intoxicated, first offense, following a traffic stop in the 3100 block of 13th Street. The passenger, Karen L. Wirth, 51, Monroe, was arrested for bail jumping. Strossner was released to a responsible party. Wirth was jailed pending court.

On Sunday:

• Brenda M. Goebel, 49, Monroe, was arrested at 12:01 a.m. for DWI, first offense, in the 1300 block of 21st Street. She was cited and released pending court.

• A 16-year-old boy was arrested at 4:44 p.m. for theft in the 200 block of 8th Street. He was cited and released to a parent.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Friday:

• Deputies responded at 10:38 a.m. to a report of two juveniles entering a vacant house located on Asmus Road, Clarno Township. As a result the two boys from Monroe were cited for trespassing without consent. Both boys were released pending court.

• Andrew J. Ostby, 42, New Glarus, was cited at 4:21 p.m. for driving with a suspended driver's license on Wisconsin 69 near Old Madison Road, Town of New Glarus. Ostby was released pending court.

• Paul W. Buckham, 39, Brodhead, was cited at 7:47 p.m. for driving without a motorcycle endorsement in the W300 block of Wis. 81, Town of Spring Grove. Buckham was taken into custody on a child support warrant issued by Richland County. He was released pending court.

On Sunday:

• Timothy R. Proctor, 25, Argyle, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. for bail jumping after deputies stopped the driver for a traffic infraction on Wis. 69 near Old Madison Road, Town of New Glarus. Proctor was jailed pending court. Proctor was out on bond for charges of DWI with conditions that he not drink or drive a vehicle without a license.

• Kadeisha C. Otto, 20, Freeport, was cited at 1:51 a.m. for driving while suspended, speeding, driving without insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana, after deputies stopped her for a traffic violation on Wis. 69 north of Melvin Road, Town of Clarno. A passenger, Justin M. Simpson-May, 25, Ridott, was cited for open intoxicants in a vehicle. Both parties were released pending court. K-9 unit Ike assisted with the investigation.

• Deputies made contact with a group of tubers in the N5000 block of the Sugar River, Town of Albany, after observing drug use. As a result, Andrew D. Hladilek, 21, Maple Park, Ill., was cited at 3:55 p.m. for possession of marijuana. He was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - A deputy responded to a report of a dog bite on Wis. 78, Wiota Township, at 2:40 a.m. Friday.

On Saturday:

• A deputy located a vehicle on the side of the road at 2:35 a.m. on Wis. 78, Argyle Township. The vehicle was towed.

• A deputy located a vehicle in the ditch at 4:10 a.m. on Wis. 11, Wayne Township. The vehicle was towed.

• A deputy responded to a report of an injured animal on County W, Benton Township, at 2 p.m.

• Allison W. Gafner, 17, was cited at 11:05 p.m. for underage drinking after a deputy investigated a report of battery that occurred on County F, Seymour Township. Darlington police and Rural Medical Ambulance assisted at the scene.

• Kevin W. Bruehlman, 31, Argyle, was arrested at 1:13 a.m. Sunday for disorderly conduct after deputies performed a welfare check at Whiteside Road, Argyle Township. Bruehlman was jailed pending court.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Andrew Turpin, 18, Darlington, was cited at 11:50 p.m. Sunday for driving after suspension, second offense, following an incident at the Darlington Mini Mart.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - On Wednesday:

• Stacy L. Flannery, 37, Madison, was cited for two counts of issuing worthless checks. She was released pending court.

• Ronald J. Agee, 32, Beloit, was cited for two counts of issuing worthless checks. He was released pending court.

• A 15-year-old Brodhead girl was cited at 1:46 p.m. for criminal damage to property in the 1400 block of 21st Street. She was released pending court.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On Monday, May 26:

• Jeffrey Hogue, 28, New Glarus, was arrested at 10:11 a.m. for criminal trespassing after police received a report of a trespassing violation from the 900 block of 5th Street. Hogue was jailed pending court.

• Police were dispatched at 7:56 p.m. to a residence in the 700 block of 6th Avenue to remove an unwanted subject who would not leave the residence. The subject was removed and sent on his way with a warning that if he returned he would be arrested.

On Tuesday:

• Kacy L. Dearing, 40, New Glarus, was arrested at 9:25 a.m. for trespassing after police received a report that Dearing was sleeping in the yard of a residence in the 700 block of 6th Avenue. Dearing was jailed pending court.

• Police received a report of a man possibly sleeping next to the footbridge behind the businesses in the 600 block of Railroad Street. Green County sheriff's deputies assisted because police were called out to a welfare check elsewhere in the village.

• Police responded at 4:03 p.m. to a report of vehicle tires being slashed in the 300 block of Elmer Road. The incident remains under investigation.

• Lionel J. Dumond Jr., 48, New Glarus, was cited for loitering Wednesday following an investigation into a complaint filed the previous day.

• Helen C. Kuykendoll, 24, New Glarus, was cited at 6:04 p.m. Thursday for disorderly conduct after police received a harassment complaint from the 300 block of Elmer Road.

On Friday:

• Police took a report of theft at 8:45 a.m. of a 2013 black Polaris Sportsman's ATV and a 2013 silver Triton ATV88 trailer from 10th Avenue. The items were taken late at night or in the early morning hours. The New Glarus Police Office asks that anyone with information call their office at 527-2145.

• Police separated parties involved in a domestic disturbance at 9:32 a.m. in the 300 block of Elmer Road. Reports were forwarded to the District Attorney's Office.

• Police took a report of theft of a 2010 red Dodge Charger, stolen while in the village. The incident remains under investigation.

On Sunday:

• Police were dispatched at 6:27 p.m. for a report of a small tree across the road in the 900 block of 14th Avenue. The tree fell due to the weather and was removed.

• Police responded at 6:58 p.m. to a report of two large branches that broke off of two different trees across the roadway in the 300 block of 3rd Avenue. The branches fell due to the weather and were removed.

• Police took a report of a large branch across the road in the he 200 block of 1st Avenue. The branch fell due to the weather and was removed.
