Lafayette County Sheriff
DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:
• A deputy checked the welfare of an individual at 5:20 a.m. on County XX, Belmont Township.
• A deputy took a report of theft and criminal damage to property on West Center Street, Village of South Wayne, at 10 a.m.
• A deputy was dispatched at 1:35 p.m. to check the welfare of an individual on Lincicum Road, Wayne Township.
• Brittany J. Christman, 17, Mineral Point, was cited at 5:48 p.m. for speeding following a traffic stop on Ipswitch Road, Elk Grove Township.
• A deputy responded to a traffic complaint of 4-wheelers driving on the roadway of Bridge Street, Village of Gratiot, at 7:35 p.m.
• Daniel J. Ubersox, 29, Blanchardville, was cited at 8:17 p.m. for unreasonable and imprudent speed, driving after revocation and speeding following a traffic stop on Wisconsin 11, New Diggings Township. Ubersox was arrested and transported to the county jail. He was later released to a responsible party.
