Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Officers Sunday responded to a report of two $100 counterfeit bills passed at a local bank. A total of four $100 counterfeit bills have been passed at local banks in the past month. The incident remains under investigation and has been referred to the United States Secret Service.

• Four people were arrested following a traffic stop around 10:45 p.m. Friday on Wisconsin 23 in Darlington. Alyssa Devoe, 19, Darlington; Kyle Johnson, 17, Darlington; Joseph White, 19, Dodgeville; and Brittany Cullen, 17, Shullsburg, were arrested for underage drinking and open intoxicants in a vehicle. White was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Michael E. Hoffman, 22, Monroe, was arrested for fourth-offense drunken driving and driving after revocation following a traffic stop around 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of 22nd Avenue. He was jailed.

• Mary C. Wing, 55, Monroe, was arrested for theft around noon Saturday at Pick 'n Save. She was released pending court.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Zachary W. Graham, 32, New Glarus, was cited for driving after suspension following a traffic stop around 5:45 p.m. Thursday on Wis. 69 near Sixth Avenue.

• Three people were cited following an investigation of a complaint filed May 7 of video games and movies not being returned to the Video Haus in New Glarus. Larry A. Fullbright, 34, Coldwater, Minn., Thomas R. Kruger, 25, Monroe, and Linnea A. James, 35, Cross Plains, were cited for failure to return property.

• Vandalism to two vehicles was reported around 6:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Second Street. Vehicles owned by Scott Foster, 33, and Kurt Foster, 50, had sugar put in the gas tanks which caused damage to the engines.

• A vehicle at a Heidi Court residence was reported "keyed" around 12:45 p.m. Thursday. The vandalism is believed to have occurred late the night before or in the early morning hours.

• A vehicle at the New Glarus High School was reported vandalized around 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Police report the right front fender of the vehicle was scratched and there was a dent to the left front passenger door.

• A vehicle owned by Michael B. Bowlin, 21, New Glarus, was reported damaged around 10:30 p.m. Friday. Police report the vehicle was damaged when a rock was thrown at the windshield.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Brandon R. Pinnon, 40, Beloit, was arrested for second-offense drunken driving following a traffic stop around 12:15 p.m. Sunday in the W700 block of Golf Course Road. He was released pending court.
