Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - William Phillip Haberkorn, 31, Lancaster, and Andrew John Pitzen, 31, Darlington, were arrested on probation violations and jailed after officers responded at 9:40 p.m. Friday, July 27, to a disturbance on Washington Street. Haberkorn was also cited for disorderly conduct.

- Kyle A. Brunkow, 31, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of driving a utility terrain vehicle while intoxicated (first offense) at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, July 29, following a traffic stop on Wisconsin Street. Brunkow was also cited for operating a UTV on a highway and for keeping open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. He was released pending court.

- Dennis D. Koester, 54, Gratiot, was arrested on a charge of driving an all-terrain vehicle while intoxicated (first offense) at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday, July 29, following a traffic stop on the Cheese Country Trail. He was released pending court.

- Jeremy Michael Mullen, 32, Darlington, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at about 11:25 p.m. Friday, July 27, following a traffic stop on Main Street.

- Isreal Miguel Rios, 19, Darlington, was cited for a public nuisance violation at about 11:30 p.m. Friday, July 27, following an incident on the 300 block of Main Street.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Shelby J. Peevyhouse, 21, Monroe, was arrested at 10:53 a.m. Saturday, July 28, on a warrant issued by Lauderdale County, Miss. He was jailed.

- Lisa K. Colello, 46, Blanchardville, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after a deputy responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Oak Street in Blanchardville at 10:29 a.m. Sunday, April 29.

- Joanna Nika, 23, Chicago, was cited for speeding at 6:24 p.m. Friday, July 27, on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

n James A. Grantham, 47, Overland Park, Kan., was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 2:42 p.m. Saturday, July 28, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

n Michael P. Randolph, 56, Kansas City, Mo., was cited for speeding at 5:06 p.m. Saturday, July 28, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Travis J. Hach, 20, Platteville, was cited for speeding at 9:50 p.m. Saturday, July 28, on Wisconsin 23 in the Town of Willow Springs.

- The theft of a vehicle was reported at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, July 28, on South Main Street in Blanchardville. The incident remains under investigation.

n Animal mistreatment was reported on 2nd Street in Benton at 8:43 p.m. Sunday, July 29.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Jonathan P. Heins, 27, Monroe, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, battery and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, July 29. Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in a parking lot of an apartment complex in the 1700 block of 30th Avenue between Heins and a 25-year-old Monroe woman. Heins allegedly threw a coffee table at her and punched her, causing minor injuries. She declined medical treatment. A neighbor in the apartment building called police at 2:05 a.m. to report a window was broken by Heins and the woman during the dispute as they swung open a door. Heins was jailed. His signature bound was set Monday, July 30, at $2,000. Conditions of his bond include no drinking and no contact with the victim.

- Kyle S. Peotter, 17, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor bail jumping at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday, July 29, after police responded to a report that he stole some cash from a person in the 400 block of West 21st Street. The theft could not be substantiated, but officers arrested Peotter for violating a bond condition that he be in his home between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.

- Ana Jaritza Bello-Osuna, 26, Monroe, was cited for driving without a valid license and without vehicle insurance after police responded to a one-vehicle collision in the 700 block of 17th Street at 6:16 p.m. Sunday, July 29. Bello-Osuna struck a garage, causing severe damage to the structure and moderate damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was towed. No injuries were reported.

- A property owner was issued a notice at 8:01 a.m. Friday, July 27, to put address numbers on the outside of a home in the 1700 block of 21st Avenue. It is a violation of city code to leave a house unnumbered.

- A resident reported the theft of a brown and white Mongoose bicycle at 9:19 p.m. Friday, July 27.

- A resident in the 1100 block of 29th Avenue reported a scam involving the online sale of an ATV on Craigslist and eBay at 9:16 p.m. Saturday, July 28. The resident reported sending $1,800 via Western Union to parties in London, U.K., and Missouri. The case is under investigation.

- Police are investigating a report of retail theft at Walmart, 300 6th Ave. W., made at 1:07 p.m. Sunday, July 29.

- A resident in the 1200 block of 2nd Street North complained at 1:24 p.m. Sunday, July 29, that a neighbor's pool smelled and was a breeding area for mosquitoes. Police talked with the pool owner to resolve the issue.

- A dispute between neighbors over lawn-mowing in the 2000 block of Haven Lane escalated to the point that one neighbor called dispatch at 7:48 p.m. Sunday, July 29, to report the other was blowing grass debris across their property line and had tried to run him over with the mower. Police warned them to clean up any grass clippings and calm down.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Dustin W. Heyer, 32, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 10:41 p.m. Monday, July 23, in the 1100 block of Wisconsin 69.

- Mitchell Bliss, 18, Belleville, and John Page, 17, New Glarus, were cited for underage drinking at 2:42 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, in the 100 block of 6th Avenue.

- Korey L. Kessler, 33, Lanark, Ill., was cited for speeding in the 1100 block of Wis. 69 at 11:27 a.m. Thursday, July 26.

- Tony J. Popp, 48, New Glarus, was cited for obstructing an officer during an investigation at 12:44 p.m. Thursday, July 26. The citation was mailed to Popp.

- Items were reported stolen out of an unlocked vehicle on 2nd Street at 9:49 p.m. Tuesday, July 24. The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information on the incident may call dispatch at (608) 527-2145. Police remind people to always lock unattended vehicles.

- An iPod Touch was reported stolen in the village park at 2:55 p.m. Thursday, July 26. The case is under investigation.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Deputies responded to a complaint at 7:09 p.m. Sunday, July 29, that a suspicious-looking man was walking his dog on Wis. 69 near Chesboro Lane in the Town of Washington. The man was located and identified as William H. Stevens, 33, no permanent address. He was arrested on a warrant issued by Vernon County for failure to pay a fine and jailed pending bond or transport to Vernon County.
