Monroe Police

MONROE - Colten J. Shaw, 21, Orangeville, was arrested at 2:05 a.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of 17th Street for a warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Department for driving a vehicle after revocation. Shaw was jailed pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Robert A. Geyer, 41, Monroe, was arrested at 2:16 a.m. Thursday for driving while under the influence of drugs, second offense, in the N7600 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of New Glarus. Deputies responded to the location for a report of a disabled vehicle and they found Geyer walking southbound away from the vehicle. He was jailed pending a 12-hour release or a responsible party.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday:

• Deputies checked the welfare of an individual at 1:54 p.m. on County E, Shullsburg Township.

• A deputy responded at 5:57 p.m. to a report of suspicious activity on North Van Buren Street, Village of Benton.

• A deputy took a report of a civil dispute on Johnson Road, Shullsburg Township, at 6:15 p.m.

• A deputy responded to a report of square bales on the roadway at 7:07 p.m. on Wisconsin 11, Gratiot Township.

• A deputy was dispatched at 7:32 p.m. to a noise complaint on Railroad Avenue, Village of Benton.

• A deputy responded to a suspicious person complaint on West Estey Street, Shullsburg, at 8:07 p.m.

• A deputy took a report of criminal damage to property to a mailbox at 11:20 p.m. on Wedig Farm Lane, Elk Grove Township.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Police investigated a retail theft complaint at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Darlington Mini Mart on Galena Street. It was learned that three subjects had allegedly stolen alcohol from the business and left the community. The Monroe Police Department located the subjects. Monique Banks, 34; Felicia Green, 40; and Andrew Banks, 33, all from Beloit, were arrested and returned to Darlington along with the car they were in. Officers recovered hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from the car. The merchandise was believed to be stolen from a number of different businesses in different communities. The matter remains under investigation. Monique Banks and Green were released pending court. Andrew Banks remains jailed on a Rock County warrant.

• Policarpo Berrios-Ramirez, 47, Beloit, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. Friday on a felony warrant issued by Rock County for first-degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 12, after police made contact with him on Louisa Street.
