Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Gerardo Lendeche-Mejia, 25, Darlington, was cited for improper display of license plates, driving without a valid driver's license and driving without vehicle insurance at about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, following a traffic stop on Galena Street.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Kyle S. Peotter, 17, and a 13-year-old boy, both of Monroe, were cited for trespassing at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 24. The two were reportedly found at Monroe Estates, 560 W. 21st St., in violation of an order against them not to be there. Police have warned them multiple times in recent months not to be on the property. They were cited for the same offense last week.

- Brake lines on a vehicle in the 2500 block of 12th Street were reported cut at 8:57 a.m. Tuesday, July 24. Damage is estimated at $55.

- The rear window on a van in the 500 block of West 21st Street was reported broken sometime during the previous night at 8:58 a.m. Tuesday, July 24. Damage is estimated at $200. Nothing was reported taken from the vehicle.

- Online identity theft was reported in the 2500 block of 12th Avenue at 11:33 a.m. Tuesday, July 24.

- A resident in the 1600 block of 13th Avenue was issued a notice at 2:02 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, to clean up car parts left in the yard.

- A 1-year-old child was reported bitten by the family dog at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, in the 2000 block of 20th Terrace.

- A 12-year-old child was warned for riding a bicycle within two blocks of the downtown Square, a violation of city code, at 5:08 p.m. Tuesday, July 24.

- A syringe and needle, apparently unused, were found outdoors in the 500 block of West 21st Street and turned over to police at 5:49 p.m. Tuesday, July 24. Police took the syringe and needle to Monroe Clinic for safe disposal.

- Property owners were issued notices Tuesday, July 24, to put address numbers on residences in the 2900 block of 13th Street and 1300 block of 26th Street. It is a violation of city code to leave a house unnumbered.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Taylor R.P. Suddeth, 18, rural Monroe, was taken into custody on a warrant issued by Rock County after deputies responded to a residence in the W6600 block of Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Monroe at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, for a complaint that was found to be civil in nature. Suddeth posted bond and was released.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - A deputy investigated a report of animal neglect on Longs Lane in the Town of New Diggings at 8:44 p.m. Tuesday, July 24. The incident remains under investigation.
