Monroe Police

MONROE - Troy A. Gorr, 18, Monroe, was arrested at 9:36 p.m. for physical abuse to a 16-year-old female, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer in the 2600 block of 10th Street. Chief of Police Fred Kelley said there was an incident at the fair between Gorr and the girl but Gorr fled prior to law enforcement's arrival. He was later apprehended in the Town of Clarno after giving a false name to law enforcement. Gorr was jailed pending court. Kelley said the 16-year-old had very minor injuries.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Wendy A. Edgington, 59, Rock City, Ill., was arrested at 8:18 p.m. Thursday for driving while intoxicated, first offense, after being stopped in conjunction with a disorderly conduct call originating from a campground in the N3200 block of Crazy Horse Lane, Decatur Township. Edgington had fled the scene prior to deputies arrival and was stopped by Brodhead police. She was released to a responsible party pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday:

• A deputy responded to a disabled vehicle at 6:25 a.m. on U.S. 151, Belmont Township.

• A deputy responded at 2:25 p.m. to a report of a suspicious person on 2nd Street, Village of Argyle.

• A deputy responded to a traffic complaint of a disabled vehicle on Van Buren Street, Village of Benton, at 3:35 p.m.

• A deputy took a report of a dog bite at 6:44 p.m. on West Water Street, City of Shullsburg.

• A deputy responded at 9:21 p.m. to a 911 hang up call on County XX, Belmont Township. UW-Platteville police assisted with the call.
