Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Justin D. Arnesmeier, 19, Brodhead, was cited for a stop sign violation at 11:12 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, in the 2200 block of West 5th Avenue.

- Lee L. Thomas, 39, Janesville, was cited for disorderly conduct on Wednesday, Dec. 28, stemming from an incident on Sept. 10.

- Mark S. Bassett, 44, Edgerton, was cited for speeding at 7:07 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, in the 600 block of 1st Street.

- A 16-year-old Brodhead male was cited for violating his graduated driver license (GDL) terms at 12:17 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

- Michael T. Zubek, 52, Brodhead, was cited for speeding at 4:47 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, in the 400 block of 1st Street.

- Helen K. Houseweart, 52, Brodhead, was cited on Friday, Dec. 30, for a defective headlights violation stemming from a Nov. 27 incident.

- Lisa L. Boeke, 46, Juda, was cited for speeding at 7:12 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, in the 600 block of 1st Street.

- Susan M. Johnson, 29, Brodhead, was cited for speeding at 8:54 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, in the 600 block of 1st Street.

- Robert G. Frie, Jr., 43, Monroe, was cited for speeding at 7:23 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, in the 600 block of 1st Street.

Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Lauren K. Sauer, 51, Shullsburg, was arrested on Main Street at 2:50 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, on a warrant issued by Lafayette County. She posted bond and was released.

- Reanna R. Parker, 30, Darlington, was arrested on Ohio Street at 3:25 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, on a warrant issued by Lafayette County. She was also cited for driving without a valid license. She posted bond and was released.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Brett A. Seffrood, 23, Monroe, was arrested at 2:14 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at the intersection of 16th Avenue and 19th Street on charges of driving while under the influence of an intoxicant, resisting arrest, battery of a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. Seffrood was jailed. He has a preliminary hearing in Green County Court on Jan. 24.

- Natasha E. Kupersmith, 32, Monroe, was cited at 1:38 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, in the 1300 block of 11th Street for driving while under the influence of an intoxicant.

- Lisa J. Kraft, 38, Monroe, was arrested at 12:11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, in the 1500 block of 23rd Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest. She was released after posting bond.

- John D. Barrett, 25, Monroe, was arrested at 6:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, in the 1500 block of 12th Street on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer. He was also arrested for a probation hold issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, and jailed.

- Benjamin G. Kalinowski, 18, Argyle, was arrested on a charge of retail theft at 11:54 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, in the 700 block of 8th Street. He was jailed in Monroe, then transported at 5:02 p.m. to the Lafayette County jail for an outstanding warrant issued by the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department for failure to pay a fine.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Two "Recall Walker" signs were reported at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, as stolen out of a yard in the 1200 block of 2nd Street. The theft is under investigation.

- Ryan J. Cole, 23, New Glarus, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and discharging BB gunshot within village limits after officers responded at 10:03 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, to a report that a man was "walking around acting strange with a handgun in his hand" in the 400 block of 6th Avenue. Officers from Belleville, Monticello and the Green County Sheriff's Department assisted in securing a perimeter around the scene. An investigation revealed the handguns were actually facsimiles, or replicas.

- A "Recall Walker" sign was reported at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, as stolen out of a yard in the 1000 block of 2nd Street. The theft is under investigation.

- A burglary of numerous items, with a total value of about $7,000, was reported at 9:16 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, out of a storage locker in the 300 block of Elmer Road. Police found evidence of forced entry and are continuing to investigate the burglary.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Joshua Frauchiger, 35, Monroe, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property at 11:39 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, after deputies responded to a report of a physical altercation in the 100 block of South Mill Street in Browntown.

- Michael L. Harnish, 39, Monroe, was arrested at 2:03 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 29, in the 2500 block of 13th Street in Monroe on a charge of driving while under the influence of an intoxicants, his second such charge. He was also cited for a seatbelt violation and driving left of center. He was released to a responsible person and issued court dates.

- A 14-year-old male was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to a residence in the Town of Clarno at 1:08 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30. The parents reportedly found paraphernalia in the boy's possession. When an argument ensued, the boy fled the home. Deputies found and then released him, pending a court date.

- Fred L. Meinert, 48, of rural Monroe, was cited for driving too fast for conditions following a one-vehicle crash on County Y east of Klondike Road in the Town of Jordan reported at 8:09 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30. Meinert lost traction on the icy road, slid sideways across traffic, down a steep embankment and across a picked soybean field before the tires caught in the dirt, causing the vehicle to overturn onto its roof. Browntown firefighters extricated Meinert from the vehicle. He received EMS treatment at the scene but declined transport to a hospital. The vehicle was very severely damaged and towed from the scene.

- Roxane L. True, 32, Lake Geneva, was cited for driving with a suspended license after deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic infraction at 7:04 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, in the W3600 block of Wis. 11 in the Town of Sylvester.

- Mathew Thomas Daly, 21, Evansville, was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 2:14 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, to a disturbance in the parking lot of a bar in the Town of Monroe. He was jailed.
