MONROE - Jordan Fritz Graber, 19, Monroe, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, on his second charge of driving while under the influence of an intoxicant, following a one-vehicle crash on County D north of Wisconsin 92 in the Town of Exeter. Graber had reportedly left the scene by the time deputies arrived, but was located, with the help of a K9 unit, hiding in a wooded area about one mile south of the crash. Deputies say Graber was driving southbound on County D when he lost control of his truck on the ice- and snow-covered road, veered into an embankment, hit several scrub trees and began to roll before hitting a tree and coming to rest on a residential lawn. Graber was not injured, but was transported by Belleville EMS to an area hospital. The Belleville Fire Department also responded to the accident. Graber was cited for driving with a revoked license, driving too fast for conditions and failing to notify police of an accident. He was released pending court.
- Anthony M. Wiser, 21, of rural Monroe, turned himself in at the Sherrif's Department at 10:04 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. He was taken into custody and incarcerated on the probation hold.
