Monroe Police

MONROE - Kendra M. Lenz, 22, Monroe, was arrested at 11:34 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, in the 2900 block of 16th Street for an outstanding warrant issued by the Rock County Sheriff's Department for disorderly conduct and battery. Lenz was jailed.

- Jessica L. Vanhook, 28, Monroe, was cited for her third charge of driving without a valid license at 12:04 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, in the 900 block of 10th Street. She was released pending court.

- A 22-year-old Monroe man was found with an unspecified amount of alleged marijuana at 1:14 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, after he was stopped for a traffic offense in the 1200 block of 17th Street and gave consent to a vehicle search. The case is being referred to the district attorney.

- A residential burglary was reported at 2:09 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, in the 100 block of North 20th Avenue. Police were told household items, including electronics, had been stolen. The case is under investigation.

- A $48.30 gas drive-off was reported at 12:22 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at a station in the 100 block of North 18th Avenue. The driver was contacted, and the fuel was paid for.

- A residential window valued at $50 was reported as broken at 7:03 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, in the 400 block of West 21st Street.

- Twelve citations for unshoveled sidewalks were issued at various locations across Monroe on Sunday, Jan. 15.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Kyle R. Neuenschwander, 18, New Glarus, was cited on Dec. 29 for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and on Jan. 11 for theft, following investigations into two reported thefts. The theft citation stems from a Dec. 12 incident involving the theft of an Xbox from a home.

- Police took a report on Monday, Jan. 9, that the glass doors to a business in the 400 block of 2nd Street had been shattered. No suspects have been identified.

- Xbox games, a controller and other items were reported as burglarized from a residence in New Glarus. The burglary was reported at 2:04 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, and is believed to have occurred in the early morning hours that day. Police are requesting that anyone with information about the incident call the department at 527-2145.

- Officers responded to a report at 10:59 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, of a person stranded on foot on Farmers Grove Road. The person was kept warm in a squad car until a Green County Sheriff's Department deputy arrived to handle the case.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Hans Lehner, 55, of rural Browntown, was injured and arrested on his third charge of driving while under the influence of intoxicants at 1:06 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, after deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident in the N1700 block of County M in the Town of Cadiz. Lehner reportedly swerved off the road, hit a culvert, became airborne and overturned several times before coming to a rest in the ditch. The Browntown Fire Department extricated him from the vehicle, which was severely damaged and towed from the scene. Green County EMS transported Lehner to the Monroe Clinic ER.

- Alexandra Iverson, 20, of rural Brodhead, was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle at 11:31 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash with no injuries on Decatur Road at West 3rd Avenue in the Town of Decatur. Iverson reportedly attempted to stop at a stop sign but slid through the intersection and into a ditch. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

- Richard Ehmcke, 26, Mineral Point, was cited for driving with a revoked license and failing to stop at a stop sign at 6:53 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, on Wisconsin 104 at Amidon Road in the Town of Brooklyn.

DARLINGTON - Caitlyn I. Ambrose, 21, Monroe, was cited for speeding at 3:52 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

- Timothy A. Sampson, 35, Cuba City, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 4:58 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

- Jody C. Timmer, 48, Freeport, Ill., was cited for speeding at 5:23 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

- Michelle M. Wendling, 36, Waterford, was cited for speeding at 6:20 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

- Lindsay T. Schilleman, 18, Rhinelander, was cited for speeding at 10:39 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Frank J. Kosirog, 27, Madison, was cited for speeding at 11:18 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Tyler J. Runde, 29, Platteville, was cited at 12:29 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, for failure to stop at a stop sign on West Mound Road in the Town of Belmont.

- Brandyn K. Van Handel, 36, South Amana, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 12:16 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Deanea E. Soukup, 71, Anamosa, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 12:28 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.

- Scott A. Wallace, 48, Ankeny, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 12:40 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Damian J. Mootz, 43, Bellevue, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 12:44 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, on U.S. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

- Harvey M. Ulfers, Jr., 58, Cedar Falls, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 12:58 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Wayne.

- Karin D. Cross, 49, Winnebago, Ill., was cited for speeding at 10:59 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, on Wisconsin 23 in the Town of Darlington.

- Ryan T. Welsh, 18, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at 1:10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, after deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Main Street in Shullsburg. Walsh was jailed.
