Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Anthony J. Wilson, 41, Darlington, was arrested at a residence on Washington Street at 1:35 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, for a child support warrant issued by Iowa County. He remains jailed.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Travis A. Vincent, 22, Monroe, was arrested at 6:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, on two outstanding warrants issued by the Monroe Police Department for failure to pay fines.

- Child abuse was reported at 10:18 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, in the 900 block of 14th Avenue. The complainant alleged two children had minor injuries caused by harm inflicted on them. Police forwarded the case to Green County Human Services.

- A business in the 500 block of 11th Street reported at 11:54 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, that its phone line had been hacked by an outside entity to make international phone calls.

- Police responded at 4:42 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, to a complaint that a mother and her adult son were arguing and causing a disturbance in front of a business in the 1600 block of 11th Street. Police were then called at 7:11 p.m. to an apartment building in the 1100 block of 30th Avenue for a complaint that the son was again causing a disturbance. He was warned, and no charges were filed.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Alan J. Corley, 27, Darlington, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 8:43 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, on County J in the Town of Benton.

- Clayton M. Shimeall, 59, Cedar Falls, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 4:59 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Gratiot.

- Joseph A. Robinson, 22, South Wayne, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 9:42 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

- Michael L. Santoro, 18, Monroe, was cited for driving with a suspended license, failure to report an accident and failure to have control at 4:21 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, following a one-vehicle accident on County N in the Town of Argyle. Santoro reportedly lost control of his vehicle and crossed the opposing lanes of traffic into a plowed field, where the car rolled over several times before coming to rest on its wheels. Santoro removed himself from the vehicle and was driven from the scene in a private vehicle. When deputies located Santoro, he declined medical treatment for minor injuries sustained in the crash.

- Tammy J. White, 39, Gratiot, was cited for having no vehicle insurance at 8:50 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, in the Town of Gratiot.

- Charity L. Wichmann, 21, Orangeville, Ill., was cited for speeding at 8:56 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, in the Town of Wayne.

- Joshua A. Skellett, 30, Platteville, was arrested in Platteville at 12:05 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, for three warrants issued by Lafayette County. He was jailed.

- Bruce B. Carr, 19, Darlington, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana at 4:07 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, after a deputy responded to a report of a disabled vehicle parked in a lane of traffic on Wis. 81 in the Town of Darlington. Carr's vehicle reportedly had a blown-out tire.

- David C. Zimmerman, 62, Pecatonica, Ill., was cited for speeding and driving without a valid license at 10:49 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, on Wis. 11 in the Town of Shullsburg.

- A deputy took a report at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, that a house and several belongings were damaged by paintballs the previous night on South Galena Street in Shullsburg.

- A deputy took a report at 10:20 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, of possible animal mistreatment occurring at a residence on County G in the Town of Willow Springs.

- A theft of gasoline from the tank of a vehicle parked on Division Street in South Wayne was reported at 8:40 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8. The theft had occurred the previous Friday night.

n A gas drive-off was reported at 7:02 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at a business on West Main Street in Benton. The incident remains under investigation.

- Yvonne R. Rynearson, 28, Mineral Point, was taken into custody at 6:03 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at a residence on County G in the Town of Willow Springs for a warrant issued by Richland County. She later posted bond and was released.

- Rodimiro Gutierres Santacruz, 21, Darlington, was cited for having no vehicle insurance at 9:23 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, on Wis. 81 in the Town of Seymour.
