Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Bryan A. Hathaway, 42, Browntown, was arrested at 11:19 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4 on charges of battery, disorderly conduct, criminal damage and strangulation after deputies were dispatched to a residence on Franklin Road in Cadiz Township for a domestic dispute. Hathaway was jailed pending court.

• Douglas P. Roska, 54, Monticello, was arrested at 7:01 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5 on charges of battery, disorderly conduct and strangulation after deputies were dispatched to a residence on Marshall Bluff Road in Exeter Township for a dispute. Roska was jailed pending court.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Friday, Jan. 3:

• Nicole E. Schlaiss, 20, Stockton, Ill., was arrested for retail theft at 11:35 a.m. in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West. Schlaiss was released pending court.

• Heath A. Bader, 37, Monroe, was arrested at 12:43 p.m. in the 1000 block of 15th Avenue for an outstanding warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

• Police were contacted at 1:31 p.m. about the theft of a purse from a shopping cart in the Walmart parking lot in Monroe. The owner of the purse had forgotten to remove the purse after unloading the cart. Police worked with Walmart security to identify a man seen removing the purse.

On Saturday, Jan. 4:

• Dustin D. Ethridge, 30, Monroe, was arrested at 2:50 a.m. in the 2700 block of 3rd Street for an outstanding warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Department for failure to pay child support.

• Adair B. Bristow, 25, Monroe, was cited for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and for display of unauthorized registration at 11:49 p.m. at 11th Avenue and 10th Street. Police conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle after observing it had license plates that did not match the vehicle. Bristow was released pending court.

• Jon T. Ward, 27, Monroe, was arrested for second-offense OWI and operating a motor vehicle after suspension at 1:27 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 5 in the 1000 block of 10th Street. A passenger, Jerrica A. Zimmerman-Stiner, 22, Monroe, was the owner of the vehicle and was cited for display of unauthorized vehicle registration, non-registration of the vehicle and no vehicle insurance. Zimmerman-Stiner and Ward were released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Sunday, Jan. 5:

• Nicholas R. Bongiovanni, 19, Madison, was arrested on a valid Dane County warrant, resisting an officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of THC at 12:22 p.m. on Meadow Street in the Village of Blanchardville. Bongiovanni was jailed.

• A deputy responded at 4:39 p.m. to a theft of a television on County F in Fayette Township.

• A deputy responded at 8:44 p.m. to a report of an animal neglect complaint on Otter Creek Road in Darlington Township.
