MONROE - On Wednesday, Jan. 9:
Conner S. Koch, 17, Monroe, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign after officers responded at 6:37 p.m. to an accident with no injuries at 12th Street and 20th Avenue. Koch collided with a vehicle driven by Whitney D. Disch, 17, Monroe. Minor to moderate damage was reported on the vehicles.
The theft of an iPod from a student's belongings while she was in gym class at Monroe High School was reported at 9:12 a.m.
A Tennessee resident reported mailing a package to relatives in Monroe that was likely stolen off the front porch of the relatives' home in the 800 block of 16th Avenue before they could get it. Police took the complaint at 11:06 a.m. The post office confirmed the package was delivered.
A resident in the 2000 block of 6th Street was warned at 12:22 p.m. to shovel snow from the sidewalk.
Two keys were found in the 1500 block of 30th Avenue and brought to the police station at 2:29 p.m. To claim this or any other lost/found items, call dispatch at (608) 329-2400.
A woman reported at 3:33 p.m. that a tire on her SUV had been slashed while the vehicle was parked in front of her boyfriend's residence in the 700 block of 17th Street.
A dog owner in the 500 block of 22nd Street was warned to bring the animal inside after police responded at 5:51 p.m. to a complaint of barking.
A man called police at 6:07 p.m. to report his neighbor's dogs in the 1500 block of 23rd Street were barking the night before and when he went over to yell at the dogs, one of the animals jumped up and bit him, ripping his coat. The dog owner, who has been cited in the past for offenses related to the dogs, was warned.
Police responded at 6:44 p.m. to a report of an abandoned bicycle near the mailboxes of a trailer park at 720 17th St. The bicycle isn't registered, so it was brought to the police station.

MONROE - Damien A. McGee, 35, Freeport, Ill., was arrested on a charge of giving deputies a false name after deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding at 2:52 a.m. in the N3700 block of Wisconsin 69 in the Town of Monroe. McGee was a passenger in the vehicle. He was booked into the jail and then released pending court.

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday, Jan. 9:
A deputy responded to a business parking lot on North Mound Avenue in Belmont at 2:57 a.m. to check on a person sleeping in a vehicle.
Richard L. Williams, 28, Darlington, was cited at 7:19 a.m. for speeding on Wis. 81 in the Town of Elk Grove.
A property owner was cited at 11:53 a.m. for a municipal ordinance violation for an unshoveled sidewalk on 2nd Avenue in Benton.
A worthless check incident at a business on East Main Street in Benton was reported at 12:10 p.m.
Paul A. Kirschbaum, 37, Lancaster, was cited at 12:50 p.m. for driving without proof of vehicle insurance on Wis. 81 in the Town of Darlington.
