MONROE - Alex J. Meives, 30, Monroe, was arrested at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday for a probation violation in the 1100 block of 16th Avenue. Meives was jailed pending court.

• A deputy assisted the Department of Natural Resources on County Shop Road, Darlington Township, at 10:30 a.m.
• A deputy responded at 3 p.m. to a report of a dog bite on South Galena Road, Benton Township.
