Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Steven R. Reece, 52, Darlington, was arrested on three Rock County warrants after a deputy made contact with a suspicious person on Wis. 81 in the Town of Lamont at 10:20 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22. Reece was jailed pending transport to Rock County.

• Trevor J. Thuli, 20, Darlington, was cited for operating left of the center line at 10:29 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, on County F in the Town of Fayette.

• Dixie L. Vosberg, 49, Cuba City, was cited for driving while intoxicated after a deputy, Darlington police and the Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a complaint at 1:15 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, of an erratic driver on Wis. 81 in the Town of Seymour. Rural Medical Ambulance assisted at the scene.

• A deputy responded at 2:23 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, to a noise complaint on School Street in Blanchardville.

• A cat bite was reported on Wis. 23 in the Town of Willow Springs at 7:18 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22.

• Criminal damage to property was reported on Fairview Street in Blanchardville at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23.

• Harassment was reported on Prospect Street in Blanchardville at 10:55 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23.

• A deputy responded to South Warren Street in South Wayne at 7:37 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, for a complaint of a dog running at large.

• Samuel T. Bober, 27, Linden, was transported from Grant County at 4:38 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, and jailed in Lafayette County on a Department of Corrections probation hold.

• A deputy took a report at 3:50 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, of a harassment incident that occurred at a residence on Prairie Road in the Town of Seymour.



Green County Sheriff

• Anthony J. Lewis, 27, Monticello, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way at a stop sign after deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision without injuries on Wis. 11 at County C in the Town of Jefferson at 5:08 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24. Lewis pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Harold L. Hawkins, 67, Beloit. Both vehicles were severely damaged and towed.

• Tyler J. Richards, 17, Monroe, was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle after deputies responded to an accident on Wis. 81 west of County J in the Town of Monroe at 7:38 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24. He was eastbound when he lost control on a curve. The vehicle veered into the north ditch and slid sideways through two utility boxes. It sustained moderate damage to the front end and passenger side and was towed.

• Trevor S. Shoemaker, 21, Brodhead, was cited for non-registration of an auto and failure to maintain control following a one-vehicle accident at 2:22 p.m. on County T near West Douglas Road in the Town of Spring Grove. Shoemaker lost control on a curve, and the vehicle hit a guard rail, crossed back over the road and entered the ditch, coming to a stop in a creek. He was transported to an area hospital for injuries he sustained in the accident. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed.
