Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Kevin E. Wines, 48, Brodhead, and Dawn M. DeVoie, 43, Brodhead, were cited for disorderly conduct around 12:15 a.m. Feb. 18 in the 1000 block of First Center Avenue. They were released pending court.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Evan J. Murphy, 26, Durand, Ill., was arrested for drunken driving following a traffic stop around 11:45 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of 24th Street. He was released pending court.

• George Huerta Jr., 33, Monroe, was arrested for a warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department around 2:15 a.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of 16th Street. He was jailed.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Bonnie K. Bitz, 46, Juda, was arrested for mistreating animals after deputies responded to an animal complaint around 7 a.m. Sunday in the W3500 block of Middle Juda Road. She was released pending court. Donald W. Svendsen, 45, Juda, was arrested for a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. He was jailed. About 20 dogs were taken from the property and are being housed at the Green County Humane Society.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - David W. Wright, 45, Dubuque, Iowa, was arrested for drunken driving following a traffic stop around 7:15 p.m. Saturday on County E in Darlington township. Wright and a passenger, Deanna J. Cheeney, 41, Gratiot, were also cited for open intoxicants in a vehicle.

• Mark D. Knightlinger, 34, Dubuque, Iowa, was arrested for disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a report of an incident between him and a female passenger as they were traveling on Wis. 11 in Wayne township. He was released pending court.

• Francisco T. Alonzo Ortiz, 18, Shullsburg, was cited for non-registration of a vehicle following a traffic stop around 5 p.m. Friday on Golf Course Road in Darlington township.

• Andrew M. Walters, 18, Gratiot, was cited for driving after suspension following a traffic stop around 5 p.m. Sunday on Noble Street in Gratiot.
