Lafayette County Sheriff DARLINGTON - On Monday: • Deputies assisted Shullsburg police with investigating a suspicious person complaint at 2:19 a.m. on West Water Street, Shullsburg. • A deputy responded to a report of bags of garbage in the roadway on Wisconsin 81, Elk Grove Township, at 4 a.m. • A deputy responded at 8 a.m. to a report of a theft of a cellphone from a location on Prairie Road, Shullsburg Township. • Steven B. DeVoe, 44, Darlington was transported at 4:40 p.m. by a deputy from the Iowa County jail to the Lafayette County jail on a probation hold.
