Monroe Police

MONROE - David A. Burgos, 24, Monroe, was arrested at 12:37 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of 8th Street, on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant. Burgos was jailed pending court.

• Kip A. Bear, 52, Monroe, was arrested at 11:19 p.m. Saturday for a probation violation in the 300 block of 4th Street. Bear was jailed pending court.

• Police responded at 8:24 a.m. Sunday to a report of a vehicle break-in in the 1000 block of 23rd Street. Entry was made to the vehicle, but nothing was reported missing at this time.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Friday:

• Gerald J. Wright, 25, Freeport, was arrested at 1:05 a.m. for possession of cocaine and obstruction on Wisconsin 69 at 21st Street, Monroe, after deputies stopped his vehicle for a traffic infraction. Wright was also cited for improper left turn and driving without a valid license. A passenger, Heather L. Halverson, 26, Albany, was also arrested for possession of cocaine. Both subjects posted bond and were released. Monroe Police Department K-9 unit Auggie assisted at the scene.

• Deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 400 block of East 9th Avenue, Brodhead, that resulted in multiple arrests. Sarah C. Teubert, 37, Brodhead, was arrested at 9:02 p.m. for possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Teubert was also cited for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance. A passenger, Jacob E. Johnson, 34, Brodhead, was arrested for possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a concealed weapon (a knife), possession of a controlled substance in jail and felony bail jumping. After being booked at the jail, other controlled substances were found on Johnson, according to GCSD Chief Deputy Tom Moczynski. A second passenger, Kimberly M. Moore, 31, Brodhead, was arrested for possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. All subjects were jailed pending court. MPD K-9 unit Auggie and Brodhead police assisted at the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A deputy responded to a traffic complaint of an erratic driver at 11:35 a.m. on Wisconsin 11, Shullsburg Township.

• A deputy responded at 11:40 a.m. to a report of an injured animal on County H, Blanchard Township.

• A deputy investigated a report of theft from a location on County G, Belmont Township, at 8:41 p.m.

On Saturday:

• A deputy responded to a report of animal neglect at 9:10 a.m. on Spruce Street, Village of Argyle.

• Deputies investigated a report of suspicious activity on Wisconsin 81, Seymour Township, at 4:06 p.m.

• Deputies assisted Shullsburg police with apprehending a woman at 9:22 p.m. on East Goodness Street, Shullsburg. The woman was arrested on a Platteville Police Department warrant.

On Sunday:

• Deputies responded at 9:35 a.m. to a report of a domestic disturbance on East Main Street, Village of Benton.

• A deputy took a complaint of criminal damage to property on County Q, Seymour Township, at 12:35 p.m.

• Joshua A. Wallgren, 29, Argyle, was arrested at 9:35 p.m. for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct on North State Street, Village of Argyle. Wallgren was jailed pending court.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Luis Fernando Alarcon-Cano, 20, Darlington, was arrested at 8 p.m. Wednesday for battery and disorderly conduct following an investigation of a disturbance at a residence on Main Street. Alarcon-Cano was also cited for underage consumption of alcohol and released pending court. Lafayette County deputies assisted at the scene.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Samuel P. Way, 28, New Glarus, was arrested at 11:54 a.m. Tuesday for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct and battery after police responded to a disturbance on 7th Avenue. Way was jailed pending court.

• Police issued a parking citation on a vehicle that was completely blocked in with snow after receiving complaints that the vehicle had not moved in several days.

On Thursday:

• Police responded to a report of an injured hawk in the 500 block of 14th Avenue, at 12:16 p.m. It was found the hawk was not injured and it flew away from the location.

• Police received a complaint of annoying phone calls at 1:34 p.m. from a location in the 200 block of 6th Avenue. The phone calls are believed to be a part of a scam.

• Police assisted Green County deputies with ponies that were loose and running on the roadway in the W8300 block of Wisconsin 39, at 5:32 p.m.

On Friday:

• Police contacted the Green County Humane Society at 11:48 a.m. and made arrangements for a dog that was abandoned in the village.

• Aubrilynn A.K. Meyers, 19, New Glarus, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. for domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of 2nd Street. Meyers was jailed pending court.
