MONROE - Donald E. Powers, 49, Juda, was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 8:12 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, to a disturbance at a residence in the Town of Spring Grove. Powers was jailed pending bond or court.

DARLINGTON - James T. Westemeier, 39, Cuba City, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at 9:03 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, after a Lafayette County deputy, Cuba City Police and Hazel Green Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on South Splinter Street in Cuba City. Westemeier posted bond and was released.

• Joann R. Deckert, 52, Benton, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at 9:56 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, after deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on 1st Street in the Village of Benton. Deckert posted bond and was released.

• A 15-year-old was cited for possessing cigarettes at 2:09 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, after a deputy responded to a complaint of students smoking at Argyle High School, 14665 Wisconsin 78.

• William S. Woods, 45, Kewanee, Ill., was cited for passing in a no-passing zone at 6:08 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, on Wisconsin 23 in the Town of Darlington.

• Tanya L. McCoy, 35, Monroe, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 7:03 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, on Wisconsin 11 in the Village of South Wayne.

• Ethan J. Fish, 20, Loves Park, Ill., was cited for speeding at 7:18 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, on Wis. 11 in the Village of South Wayne.

• Grant D. Roper, 20, South Wayne, was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign at 9:34 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, on Wis. 11 in the Village of South Wayne.

• A deputy took a report at 1:33 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, of a person trying to obtain prescription medications from another person on Lafayette Street in the Village of Argyle. The incident is under investigation.
