Monroe Police

MONROE - Norman E. Howe, 80, Monroe, was cited at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, for failing to yield right-of-way while making a left turn at the intersection of 8th Street and 3rd Avenue, causing a collision with a vehicle driven by Leah B. Douglas, 21, Brodhead. No injuries were reported, and the vehicles were moderately damaged.

- Jennifer L. Huenefeld, 24, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at 3 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, in the 1100 block of 16th Avenue. She was jailed.

- Nicholas J. Brunette, 23, Monroe, was cited at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, for unreasonable and imprudent speed and driving without insurance following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of 13th Avenue and 14th Street. Brunette reportedly hit a vehicle driven by David D. Flynn, 52, Monroe, and struck the steps at Ken's Agri-Services, causing minor damage to the property. The vehicles were moderately damaged. One person complained of injuries but declined medical attention, according to police.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Scott B. Spurrier, 45, Brodhead, was arrested at 2:58 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, on a charge of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence in the Town of Decatur. Spurrier was jailed pending bond or court.

- Jamie L. Churchill, 32, Monroe, was arrested at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at a residence in the N2200 block of County K in the Town of Clarno on a warrant issued by Green County for failure to pay a fine. She was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

- Mathew T. Daly, 21, Evansville, was cited for speeding, driving with a revoked license, non-registration of vehicle and failing to wear a seatbelt, and Christopher C. Green, 23, Orangeville, Ill., was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia and failing to wear a seatbelt following a traffic stop in the N1200 block of Wisconsin 69 at 5:43 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16. Both were released pending court.• Steven W. McLoud, 25, Monroe, was cited for driving with a revoked license and without insurance at 5:34 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, on West Lake Avenue at Wis. 69 in Monticello.

- Scott J. Etheridge, 42, Winslow, Ill., was cited at 4:14 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, for driving too fast for the conditions after he reportedly rear-ended a vehicle driven by Cheryl K. Courson, 29, of Missouri, on Wis. 69 at Cemetery Lane. No injuries were reported. Courson's vehicle was severely damaged and driven from the scene. Etheridge's vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

- Matthew L. Sturdevent, 22, Monroe, was cited for unlawful phone use and driving with a suspended license at 8:40 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, after deputies investigated a complaint that a car window had been damaged at a residence in the N100 block of Wisconsin 60.

- Shannel P. Guzman, 25, Browntown, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, on Wisconsin 11 at Carnie Lane in the Town of Monroe.

- Dana L. Seaquist, 49, Beloit, was issued citations for driving under the influence, operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration, keeping open intoxicants in a vehicle and failing to dim high beams for oncoming traffic at 6:16 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, in the W400 block of Wisconsin 92 in the Town of Brooklyn. Seaquist was released pending court.
