DARLINGTON POLICE

DARLINGTON - Alan Corley, 24 and Thomas Fitzsimons, 24, both of Darlington, were arrested at about 2:40 a.m. Saturday on Main Street in Darlington following an investigation by officers dispatched to a fight with injuries. Deputies report a Darlington man was struck in the head twice and fell to the ground unconscious. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County for treatment and later transferred to University Hospital in Madison for treatment of head injuries. Corley and Fitzsimons were charged with disorderly conduct and party to a crime of substantial battery Monday in Lafayette County Circuit Court. They were released pending future court proceedings.

• Joseph A. White, 19, Darlington, was arrested for underage alcohol consumption, second offense, following a traffic stop at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Minerva Street.

DARLINGTON - Jose J. Romero, 35, Dubuque, Iowa, was arrested for operating after revocation and defective muffler at about 6:45 p.m. Monday on Wisconsin 81 in Darlington township. Romero posted bond and was released.

• Mitchell R. Ivanov, 35, Platteville, was cited for speeding at about 10:45 p.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 151 in Belmont township. Ivanov was turned over to Grant County Sheriff's Department after it was confirmed he had a valid warrant for failure to appear for a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
