Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Marena R. Bahena, 20, and Paula J. Amaya, 24, both of Darlington, were cited for disorderly conduct Saturday, July 28, after officers were dispatched to an incident in the 200 block of Main Street.

- Carly E. McDonald, 20, Gratiot, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance Tuesday, Aug. 7, following a traffic stop on Galena Street.

- Fabian Ortiz-Camarillo, 26, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of driving without a valid license (fourth offense) Tuesday, Aug. 7, following a traffic stop on West Harriet Street. He was also cited for driving without vehicle insurance. He posted bond and was released pending court.

Monroe Police

MONROE - Tyler D. Bevins, 18, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated (first offense) after officers responded at 4:54 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, to a vehicle vs. light pole crash at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and 11th Street. Minor injuries were reported. Bevins is also charged with failure to maintain control of a vehicle, hit-and-run damage to property adjacent to a highway, driving without vehicle insurance and failure to notify the Department of Transportation of an address change. He was jailed pending court.

- Noe Lopez Ramirez, 22, Monroe, was arrested and jailed on charges of possessing cocaine and drug paraphernalia after police responded to a complaint about an impaired man on the porch of an apartment building in the 300 block of 4th Street at 1:36 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7. Police located Ramirez in a hallway of the building and report observing him snort a line of suspected cocaine. He was reportedly incapacitated. During a preliminary breath test, Ramirez blew more than .2 percent or twice the legal limit for alcohol. His cash bond was set at $250. His has a pre-trial conference scheduled Aug. 28.

- A three-wheeler bicycle worth $600 new was reported missing at 11:07 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, from the 500 block of West 21st Street. The complainant told police it had been missing for a week.

- A resident at the intersection of 23rd Avenue and 12th Street was issued notice at 12:01 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, to clean up a messy yard and remove a vehicle with a hand jack holding on the gas tank. Police issued the notice after investigating a complaint about the property.

- Notice was issued at 12:50 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, to a property owner and tenant of a residence in the 2700 block of 8th Avenue to clean up brush, tree limbs and yard waste piled in the yard.

- A buff-colored stray kitten was found in the 500 block of 16th Avenue at 3:43 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6. A resident is looking after the kitten until the owner or a home for it can be found.

- A resident was warned to put out an illegal fire at 1:13 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, in the 1900 block of 11th Avenue.

- A person reported getting bit by a dog on the sidewalk in the 500 block of 22nd Avenue at 8:06 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, but said the owner and dog left before information could be exchanged. Police are seeking the female owner of a gray and black Heeler-type dog with white spots to determine the animal's vaccination status.

- A key and key fob were found in the 1900 block of 12th Street and brought into the police station at 9:58 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7. To claim, call dispatch at (608) 329-2400.

- A resident in the 1500 block of 13th Avenue called police at 10:39 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, to report that he'd seen two UFOs in the sky. An officer was dispatched and did not see said UFOs. The officer suggested the resident search the Internet for an organization that keeps track of UFO sightings and report it there.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Justin J. Kampfer, 24, Monroe, was taken into custody at the Green County Justice Center at 10:14 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, for non-payment of child support. He was jailed pending payment.

- Aven Michael Flynn, 21, Milton, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated (first offense) after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on County E west of Golf Course Road at 5:28 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7. Flynn was eastbound when he lost control on a curve. The vehicle left the road, hit the ditch and then overturned. Flynn declined treatment for his injuries. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed. Flynn was also cited for driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration and driving too fast for conditions. He was released pending court.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Nathan S. Cheech, 26, Burlington, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance after deputies, South Wayne First Response, the South Wayne Fire Department and Monroe Ambulance responded to a multiple-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 11 in the Town of Wayne at 5:29 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7. Cheese was westbound when a wheel fell off the trailer he was pulling. The trailer veered onto the shoulder, kicking up dust. The driver behind him, Joshua C. Larson, 40, Gratiot, was able to stop. But due to the dust, the driver behind Larson, Alex A. Abraham, 23, Darlington, ran into Larson's vehicle, causing it to veer into the opposite lane, travel off the road and then hit a power pole.
