Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Reanna R. Parker, 31, Darlington, was arrested on Main Street Monday, Aug. 20 on a warrant issued by Lafayette County. She posted bond and was released.

Monroe Police

MONROE - On Tuesday, Aug. 21:

- Justin S. Helton, 18, Monroe, was arrested at 1:28 a.m. in the 1000 block of 13th Avenue on a charge of violating the Absolute Sobriety Law by driving after drinking alcohol and doing so with a passenger younger than 16. He posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

- Police responded to a complaint at 9:06 a.m. of people putting trash in a commercial trash container in the 900 block of 19th Avenue. The offenders were identified and warned.

- A property owner in the 100 block of 10th 1/2 Street was warned at 9:52 a.m. to take care of overgrown grass and weeds.

- In response to repeated complaints, police issued a final warning at 1:28 p.m. to a dog owner in the 1500 block of 23rd Street to stop the animals from barking.

- The manager of Taco Bell, 606 W. 8th St., was advised at 1:47 p.m. of continuing problems at night in the restaurant's parking lot and drive-through, including underage drinking, loitering and rowdy behavior.

- At 9 p.m., police investigated a report from the city alder for Ward 9, Charles Schuringa, that he had received numerous complaints from constituents about barking dogs in the neighborhood surrounding the 200 block of West 23rd Street. Police are working on finding the source of the barking and will be warning the dog owner.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday, Aug. 21:

- Allen D. Jacobson, 54, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after a deputy responded at 4:44 a.m. to a report of a domestic dispute on Hill Street in Blanchardville. Jacobson posted bond and was released.

- Anthony C. Foreyt, 49, Dodgeville, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 9:30 a.m. on County O in the Town of Shullsburg.

- Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at 9:38 a.m. on Wisconsin Avenue in Belmont.

- The theft of a laptop computer was reported at 1 p.m. on West Main Street in Benton.
